I suppose so. He never actually dies yeah, it's just that when you are locked up in a vault with no food and a gorgeous woman, I'd bet your life force will be "sucked out" pretty soon. Plus only Dany had the key, so nobody else can open it.
It's a very fair, if not automatic assumption to think that he is dead. If it turns out he isn't, it'll be incredibly cheap.

I think it's pretty stupid when people from this thread comment on stuff like Arya and Brienne being out of character in the TV thread (looking at you Spaylz :D) since we only know that due to their book chapters and inner monologues.

What? When have you even seen Show!Brienne be condescending and sarcastic the way she was in the last episode?
Even in the show, it's completely out of character for her.
The closest example I can think of is the bath scene with Jaime in S3, when she says "you need trust to have a truce". But even then, it's a deep disliking and it's not sardonic/mocking.

On the contrary, sex is probably the ONLY thing on my mind in a situation like that.

4 Warlocks went on board the ship 1 conveniently was killed & thrown overboard. What actually happened was Pyatt Pree sucked out Eurons lifeforce and replaced him or is mind controlling him.
Euron was MIA for years Euron had no interest in Dragons or Dany or doing anything other than being a pirate Euron had normal lips Suddenly Euron is back on the scene Obsessed with Dany & Dragons Has Blue lips Is hanging round with Warlocks 1 of the Warlocks has conveniently disappeared. Why have cool undying blue lipped creepy Warlocks involved in such a pivotal early scene in the series with a strong revenge motivation and ditch them in favour of a one dimensional pirate?
Book notes regarding Pyat Pree after ACOK:
A Feast for Crows Euron Greyjoy reportedly captured four warlocks leaving a ship from Qarth. Euron killed one for threatening him and then fed him to the three remaining warlocks. The surviving warlocks are reportedly coaching Euron in black magic. A Dance with Dragons While visiting Meereen, Xaro Xhoan Daxos informs Daenerys Targaryen that not all her enemies are in Yunkai. He warns her to "beware men with cold hearts and blue lips". He tells her that she had not been gone a fortnight when Pyat Pree set out from Qarth with three of his fellow warlocks to seek her in Pentos, in order to seek revenge on her for the burning of the House of the Undying. This implies to readers that the warlocks are most likely the ones captured by Euron Greyjoy - who came across four warlocks when he captured a certain galleas out of Qarth. In private, Ser Barristan voices his concern to Dany about Pyat Pree. When Dany tries to recall Pree's face, all she can see are his lips - which the shade of the evening turned blue. She tells Ser Barristan that if a warlock's spell could kill her, she would be dead by now. She states that she left their palace in ashes. However, she thinks privately to herself that it was Drogon who saved her when the Undying Ones would have drained the life from her. Drogon burned them all. Ser Barristan does not dispute her and replies that he will be watchful.
GRRM has said that Pyat Pree will make another appearance in the books. Literary sense Compelling "evidence". Therefore Euron = Pyat Pree
Not that I personally believe that at all, just shows how anyone can be anyone when it comes to fan theories.
Woah, what if both the theories are true, and Daario is actually Pyat Pree!

I really don't consider that out of character for her. This is the first time we have seen her interact with someone who is not equal or in a higher social rank than her. On top of that, she clearly doesn't want poor Pod to be there in the first place, and she clearly doesn't respect him all that much (yet). Show Brienne's actions towards him seem perfectly fine to me considering all that.

Some casting calls for the next seasons have surfaced with some pretty interesting information. Putting it in spoilers just in case people want to be surprised.
+ Show Spoiler +Get ready for lots of Dorne action. http://winteriscoming.net/2014/05/23/characters-confirmed-game-thrones-season-5-new-details/The most interesting piece of information to me is the casting of Maggy the Frog. So far the show has not shown flashbacks of any kind. With the casting of Maggy, it looks like we will see our first flashback, ever. Or will they show Cersei's past in Bran's visions instead? If so, that would allow them to show pretty much everything of importance (hello, Tower of Joy) through his visions. Really looking forward to that.

Oh man, that's amazing.
I mean, we were bound to get the ToJ flashback at some point, right?
If they focus on Dorne a lot, maybe we still won't see the Greyjoys... They need to keep all the main actors, and most of them will not be in Dorne. That would leave little time for the Iron Islands.

I'm worried by the absence of Arianne, unless they already have someone for this role

Which of course probably means they cast another actress who isn't willing to do nude scenes and fill the sex quota with random whore scenes.
Tywin's death should be the real shocker for the non-readers to finish out the season. People might be pissed at Oberyn, but it's a fight to the death so you can't really be that shocked. Tywin's death shouldn't be something any of the non-readers see coming.

This is an interesting change. Hmm any speculation on which character she is going to fight? apparently not just a fight too a "Major" fight?

Obara Sand? Hmm... Has to be someone from King's Landing, no?
For some reason my first thought was Jaime, but it makes no sense.
