I think I've said it in the thread before, but Varys explains his plot and talks about the identity of Aegon to Kevan, who is about to die. He already shot the bolt at this point, so it's only a matter of minutes. I seriously don't see the point of lying to a dying man, with no one else around aside from Varys' birds. And they won't tell on him. That conversation is obviously a plot telling device for GRRM, but he's not such a weak writer that he'd have Varys lie to a dying man for no reason. It's too cheap. | ||

Robb hears about Balon's death and Euron taking the Seastone Chair in Chapter 46: Catelyn V of ASOS before the Red Wedding. Dany hasn't even taken Meereen yet, if we assume that the chapters in ASOS are in chronological order. Daario is present in Chapter 58: Daenerys V and Chapter 72: Daenerys VI of ASOS. | ||

I dunno, given that the writers know more of the story at large than we do, I think it's possible. We haven't seen Balon's death, and subsequently we haven't seen the Kingsmoot. Daario is leaving Mereen now, giving the possibility that he will show up in Westeros in the later part of the season, which is when I expect to see the Kingsmoot (if we see it at all). I'm not saying I buy it or anything, but I see it as a possibility. Edit: and he's definitely deceived by omission before. | ||

4 Warlocks went on board the ship 1 conveniently was killed & thrown overboard. What actually happened was Pyatt Pree sucked out Eurons lifeforce and replaced him or is mind controlling him. Euron was MIA for years Euron had no interest in Dragons or Dany or doing anything other than being a pirate Euron had normal lips Suddenly Euron is back on the scene Obsessed with Dany & Dragons Has Blue lips Is hanging round with Warlocks 1 of the Warlocks has conveniently disappeared. Why have cool undying blue lipped creepy Warlocks involved in such a pivotal early scene in the series with a strong revenge motivation and ditch them in favour of a one dimensional pirate? Book notes regarding Pyat Pree after ACOK: A Feast for Crows Euron Greyjoy reportedly captured four warlocks leaving a ship from Qarth. Euron killed one for threatening him and then fed him to the three remaining warlocks. The surviving warlocks are reportedly coaching Euron in black magic. A Dance with Dragons While visiting Meereen, Xaro Xhoan Daxos informs Daenerys Targaryen that not all her enemies are in Yunkai. He warns her to "beware men with cold hearts and blue lips". He tells her that she had not been gone a fortnight when Pyat Pree set out from Qarth with three of his fellow warlocks to seek her in Pentos, in order to seek revenge on her for the burning of the House of the Undying. This implies to readers that the warlocks are most likely the ones captured by Euron Greyjoy - who came across four warlocks when he captured a certain galleas out of Qarth. In private, Ser Barristan voices his concern to Dany about Pyat Pree. When Dany tries to recall Pree's face, all she can see are his lips - which the shade of the evening turned blue. She tells Ser Barristan that if a warlock's spell could kill her, she would be dead by now. She states that she left their palace in ashes. However, she thinks privately to herself that it was Drogon who saved her when the Undying Ones would have drained the life from her. Drogon burned them all. Ser Barristan does not dispute her and replies that he will be watchful. GRRM has said that Pyat Pree will make another appearance in the books. Literary sense Compelling "evidence". Therefore Euron = Pyat Pree Not that I personally believe that at all, just shows how anyone can be anyone when it comes to fan theories. | ||
