spent like 30 hours straight reading dance. finished dance. now i'm angry I have to wait like 5 years to read the next one. I feel like it raised as many new questions as it answered, and it left a REALLY REALLY bit question unanswered.... + Show Spoiler + IS JON SNOW DEAD!?!?!?!?! AHHHH ITS DRIVING ME INSANE... I don't think he is.. not yet. Other characters have survived horrible wounds before, and john took a knife in the belly and a knife in the back... it says he never felt the fourth knife. Does that mean he wasn't stabbed? or maybe the fourth stab was a non-fatal one. It says the knife in the back took him between the shoulder blades... did his mail turn it? It seemed like the author was being excessively vague about the extent of Snow's wounds, when he often takes great pains to describe gore in other chapters. Maybe i'm grasping at straws here, but I really don't want snow to be dead ![]()

"....the two boys who still remain" "Davos had fathered seven sons himself, and lost four on the Blackwater. He knew he would do whatever gods or men required of him to protect the other three"

He knew he would do whatever gods or men required of him to protect the other three" that's no mistake because he more or less gave up on his son who travels with Stannis.

I'm not trying to troll I'm just dreading the deus ex machina that Martin is probably going to throw in next book. he has the Stark genetic defect in him. he's so focused on completing the task at hand and is too honest/naive. Ned 2.0. still pissed Littlefinger hasn't been a part of the story. looks like all he wanted was the Vale and after being Varys' only worthy adversary has straight dissapeared. will be rooting for some Littlefinger treachery.
