Eddard Stark helped Robert take the crown from their rightful king/curse of the Hand. Jon Arryn, curse of the Hand. Tywin, betrayed his rightful king. Also curse of the Hand. The most recent Hand died in coughs. Robert Baratheon is the Usurper, he has no right to the throne. Joffery has no right to the throne as he's not the son of a king. Robb made himself king with no right to it. Renly made himself king with no right to it. Cat managed to start a war all on her own. I'm sure there are more. Or maybe I'm just seeing patterns where there are none. But it's pretty similar to some classical tragedies. Also makes it interesting to see what will happen to Cersei and Tommen. Tommen did after all inherit the throne properly from his older brother. Maybe that's the reason Stannis is still alive too, he is actually a rightful heir of Robert. Anyway, really looking forward to the next book. The most recent one was full of characters I just didn't give a shit about. In the final chapters we actually got a reason as to why there was so much focus on Dorne, but it felt like that could've been explained in one chapter. And afaik Brienne does not add to the story at all. The only possible reason I can as to why Brienne is actually in the story is to show us how it looks on the countryside in Westeros from all fighting. But couldn't a more interesting character been used for that? Sounds like I whine a lot, but I'm expecting the next book to be one of the best so far since it basicly has all my favourite characters in much higher concentration!

I would just hate to have him pass away say before book 7 is finished or even started and that be the book where he was gonna reveal who Jon's parents were and wrap all the rest of it up. Only to have someone come in and not have anything to go by so they end up finishing it differently. Just would really suck.

He better not freaking die in the next 15 years. Assuming each book takes 6 years and then adding an extra 1.5 years to each book just for his sake.

But at the same time I'm totally bummed. It's going to be years between finishing Dance and the release of the next one. ![]() What is there to read in the mean time?

He put Cersei and Jaime in ADWD why the fuck did he do that ? I thought AFFC and ADWD were mean to be one book with two different part of the storyline. So sad... I will wait for the TV version of ADWD to actually follow it, I'm bored with le* books.

Jaime has only 1 chapter and cersei has like 3 in which she gets humiliated pretty heavyly so it's a nice read ![]()
