It seems likely that either GRRM invented a fantasy hair color which may well be more dominant than it's blonde counterpart or something that hinders their pigmentation but isn't full blown albinism is yet another Targaryen (or rather Valyrian) disorder or he didn't plan it all out genetically he just wanted to use hair and eye colors as a common family identifier and to give the Targaryens the one that was unusual and stood out. If their white hair is just a by-product of their perpetual incest, that suddenly sounds a lot less regal.

And Jamie and Cersie are fricken twins....... So if he looks like Jamie he also looks like Cersie.

The Lannisters are rich and have a big army, and they always pay their debts, both financial and metaphorical. Also, the cat video above is awesome.

Robb is dead, Rickon, Bran and Arya are dead (in the eyes of the realm), Sansa is gone and accused of kingslaying. Jon denied being elevated to Stark status and King of Winterfell. Everyone showing allegiance to them is slewn by Boltons, Lannisters or Freys, except Manderly, who is in a precarious situation to say the least. So I'm not quite sure what your question is, really.

To be fair G.R.R.M. originally intended for Dreams of Spring to be called a Time For Wolves, possibly foreshadowing ![]()

As far as most people know "Arya" is alive and married to Ramsay, although with Jeyne's escape that's probably over with. Littlefinger is preparing to wed the north to the Vale by marrying Sansa to Harry, and Lord Manderly is sending Davos to find Rickon and bring him to White Harbor so they can claim Winterfell in his name. Who knows what the fuck is going to happen with the real Arya but she's still a factor as well, and for all we know Bran is a demigod or something. Honestly I like their chances of retaining at least one immediate family member better than the Lannisters at this point. The only lions I can see surviving the whole series are Myrcella or Tommen, who of course can't legally inherit anything.

I have high hopes for Rickon, personally. Fierce little boy! And possibly the only one left who can provide legitimate Stark heirs through the male line, presuming that Bran is no longer able due to his disability (though he may be). He is also the only Stark child whose purpose in the story is not yet clear to me. GRRM must have created him for a purpose other than to make him whine a lot, I think? ![]() Rickon. :D

Introducing him as some badass future leader all of a sudden will be unrewarding. He's not a character that we would give 2 shits about if his name wasn't Stark. He doesn't deserve the title of Lord of Winterfell. Yeah, I very much doubt we'll be seeing Rickon as any sort of badass leader in the books themselves; if GRRM couldn't handle a 5-year time skip, he's not gonna be able to handle the sort of time skip it would take for Rickon to be old enough to be a badass leader. But what I mean is, I have hopes that it will end on a hopeful note, with Rickon showing some promise and the curtain falling with the knowledge that there is a Stark boy left able to re-establish the house. The gif I posted is just for fun; no way we're seeing him as Young Wolf Reborn in the actual series. And yeah, the fact that he wasn't developed at all and always just seemed sort of... there makes me think that it may be headed that way or that, at least, GRRM has something in store with him. He can't possibly have been an incidental creation; if the Starks were to be one of the central characters in the series, then he couldn't have just decided to give them a third son for no reason at all. So far he hasn't had any explicit purpose in the books; I'm hopeful he'll have one.

And it has been stated many times through out the series that "prophecies" are not set in stone and can be easily misinterpreted besides.
