I don't think it was a bad idea to have the tickler killed in this way. I mean, yeah, in the books that was one of those utterly, utterly awesome scenes to read, but in the show they simply could not build enough of a relation between Arya and the tickler to make it work. The large majority of the people would most likely not even remember him if he'd appear some time next season, and would wonder why it is supposed to be so significant that Arya kills him. A pity that we lost an awesome scene, but that's how it is. | ||

overall though I think the show is coming along well, given the time that they have. And whilst things like how they pronounce brienne and the like annoy me every time, other things like arya do make me pretty happy and pumped for whats to come | ||

He was supposed to be slashed open(at the neck yeah?) from ear to ear, I think that the whole scene was so anticlimactic really they could have done a lot better job with it. They could do better with the shadow and the lights getting dim and the way Renly died. It looked like a death of no one important really -.- Reading that chapter I was left in shuck for a few minutes and this scene didn't deliver that at all(I watched the episode with friends of mine who haven't read the books and I checked their facial expressions). Also there was something else that bugged me about this episode: I don't know why the writers decided to give the credit to Cerci about the wildfire, It should have been Tyrions plan, it was an important part of the development of his character about his wits and will of his, it all went wrong now about that he really wants to save the city, atm he looks like he is busy playing games with Cerci and some other bullshit which isn't protecting the city from armies which means Tyrion isn't doing his job well. | ||
