Her [Melisandre's] words to Stannis are not like those of say Sir Jorah, not ones of true belief and total devotion Oh boy, even p4NDemik's posts are way too fun to read. I swear I get more enjoyment out of the non-spoiler thread than the actual show

If that's the case then I don't know who's going to go off with Rickon, because it'll get pretty lonely for a 6 year old kid to wander around in the North by himself. They may not kill off the Maester and Rickon could go with him. They could also have Bran head off with just Hodor and run into the Reeds next season.

Otherwise, GRRM would said "beeteedubs, they are HUGE later on" There's a theory out there that Jojen is already dead, and was eaten by Bran in the paste fed to him by Bloodraven.

I wonder how Rickon will get to Skagos if Osha goes north with Bran. Unless they will forgo that part of the story and get rid of Rickon some other way.

Other than that it was a pretty solid episode. Already I can see people unfamiliar with the books asking "why doesn't Arya just kill Tywin"? I think you missed the idea of the "Many faced god". The Many faced god encompasses all death gods from every religion, where each of those gods is just one face of the god of death. In the case of death by fire he refers to the red god because it resonates with that faith but he is ultimately referring to the many faced god.

Also, did they change the actor playing Kevan Lannister? I couldnt really recognize him at the table On April 30 2012 12:30 setzer wrote: Didn't like the change of Jaqen's religion and making Bran a greenseer, which will likely mean the elimination of the Reeds altogether from the TV series. Already I can see people unfamiliar with the books asking "why doesn't Arya just kill Tywin"? well while reading i was totally like that, "why doesnts he kill Joffery? Why doesnt she kil Cercei? That stadium is HUGE, though. I imagined it so small. I don't know why, now that I think of it. In my imagination, it was a circle, with the diameter being like... as long as a basketball court (the long way). Probably a bit smaller. O_o On April 30 2012 13:43 Zelniq wrote: best episode so far. What if they take that part out? She's only at one kill right now, when she should be at like 20 (the battle scene with Yoren she stabs a bunch of niggas right in the face). Also, Hot Pie has basically been removed. =[ Random thoughts on the episode: - Quartheen gowns. Was I the only one excited about seeing left-boobless dresses? I'm sad they've taken that out. On a related note, I thought Dany looked incredible this episode. The 'not covered in dirt and wearing torn rags' is a good look for her. - The fuck is 'valyrian stone' ? - Was Bran the one who had the dream about Winterfell flooding? Or was that Jojen? I guess that's why you guys are assuming that Bran's a greenseer now? - Is this the same actor for Osha as always? I thought she was older and, like, super ugly? Maybe the same principle applies as above and she's just clean... - The Fist of the First Men. Not important at all but did anyone else not imagine it like it is in the show? It's like a giant cliff thing. I imagined it as a really steep hill. Still, a hill... not a mountain, which this is closer to. I guess it's not really important. The small differences from my imagination are what stand out the most for me. - I don't like how Jon asksed to come with Quorin (sp?). Wasn't he asked to come by Quorin? I liked that more. Also, did they even mention about him missing three fingers? It's hard to catch all the dialogue...

- It was jojen in the books -It's the same actress, a very good one btw, same girl who played Tonks in Harry Potter if u watched that -Yes, he was asked by him, not vice versa, but they've made Jon more pro-active in the show (like interrupting Crasters and the Lord commander, following Craster out in the woods etc) Not sure if i like it, i dont mind it that much though

The small differences from my imagination are what stand out the most for me. The Fist of the First Men is supposed to be a ringfort on a hill surrounded by forests, not a random snowy mountain surrounded by other snowy mountains. When the others and wights attacked they came out from the forest. I don't know how the night's watch will get ambushed out in the middle of nowhere with miles of vision in every direction.

Yeah, that sounds about right. As for the ambush. Well, with a thick enough blizzard they wont be able to see two tents over, let alone for miles in every direction. So apparently I miss like 50% of the dialogue in this show or something. I just realized which actor was Dolorus Edd in todays episode. I've never actually heard his name. These are the things I actually look for. How the hell does pandemik know it? D: ----------------------- Man, going to have to watch Tyrion fall again. It was so hard the first time, knowing he did so much and yet get shown nothing for it. When he learned that everyone blamed him, the face he made... =[
