I have no idea about those, which is obviously why I'm asking people to show me because I just listen to all the dubstep I find and can't really differentiate.

Some recent tracks that are pretty good... This one is old but it's such a good track... I think I'm seeing Datsik this Friday in NYC :D. ALSO --- My friend produces Dubstep! He's starting to get his name out there and he's been getting some more ups with his recent release, but I thought I'd promote him here xD. Check it out, maybe even consider purchasing for the HQ versions!

omfg this. To me Skrillex stands for everything that's wrong with generic dubstep these days. Also, hope these haven't been posted yet and if they have np.

I like some of the DnB and Electro/House producers that have made some dubstep tracks. Feed Me and Nero are definitely my favorites, and a lot of their best has already been posted in this thread, and the other one that's CharlieMurphy's old blog.

Skrillex or any other brostep producer is currently just masturbating to "epic" drops without having any soul in their music. I guess that's what you lose when a genre is going mainstream. Go listen to some Digital mysticz/mala/early skream or anyother producer that makes dubstep and not brostep, light that spliff and chill instead of being one of those fools who thinks you mosh to dubste and that Skrillex is the single greatest producer. feel free to laugh:

Well that's the first time I've ever been called a hipster, but if disliking Skrillex means that, I'm okay with it. All I see is a lot of new dubstep fans coming onto the scene and claiming Skrillex is the best thing ever when he hasn't in my eyes done anything that hasn't already been done many times over by better producers than he. Nor does he bring anything unique to his tracks.
