Weren't they still being held at gunpoint by the Scavengers? How did they turn that around? Timing was naturally perfect with the Kingdom and Hilltop showing up. No mention of Gregory or anything, wonder how they'll wrap that up when he comes back. Negan likely knows that Eugene is hiding something but he might also be thinking that Eugene would still be too much of a coward and he also still needs him to craft bullets. Perhaps Eugene can prove his use there and sabotage everything (assuming he is or will side against the Saviors). | ||

Thought I actually expected Dee to join them, but looking back, makes sense that he didn't. Kind of silly to go get him to cut down trees by himself. Those garbage people are such garbage, and how many times has Rick been shot anyway? Well now it's going to be a 3 way open war against the saviors, I'm interested what direction they take, but most likely once again a season of preparation for one clash. | ||

I thought it was a good episode with a little sillyness at the end but overall a decent starting point for the final episode. As a final it was very disappointing as was the season. | ||

Avoiding all the crossfire and how the hell they would be able to tell each other apart, particularly the hill top and kingdom knowing the difference between garbage people and Alexandria is another story. I found it interesting there was gunfire still going on while they were having their moment with Negan threatening Carl and such. That seemed reckless? | ||
