Characters are lame; I don't feel a connection with them at all except the black father and son from the first ep. Main character's wife is such a bitch/hoe. Hick wifebeater/molester made me facepalm. Gangstas with a heart of gold was so damn ridiculous. Cringing scenes like the younger sister dying, and the older sister just mourning like a fool, getting 1 inch from a reanimated zombie. I yelled at the tv, because I wanted so badly for her face to be eaten. This series could of been awesome, but it seems like they want to go down the "Lost" path. Sadly I will probably continue watching because the premise is classically good (cmon, zombie apocalypse!) and will HOPE it gets better. Omg right on the spot, couldn't have said it better myself. I've been dl'ing the episodes, the first one was REALLY good, more eerie and creepy then most films like a zombie post apocalypse should be. Then it turned into a ridicules soap opera of rednecks and weird crazy people you can't relate to at all. The plot goes in circles, they leave the tough guy racist on the rooftop, THEN go back for him wtf, he saws his hand off then it's suddenly just a cliffhanger. I really thought it was going to be good after the trailer but as I soon figured that WAS only the entire first episode. It failed right after it started such a waste of potential. | ||

I'm a huge walking dead comic fan too so it's not even that I'm ignorant about how good the show actually good be. They/we are crying because episodes 2-6 aren't as good as episode 1. Episode 1 was just awesome and I think everyone can agree on that at least. | ||

I really didn't like where they went with these first 6 episodes, but there's so much good material in the source that I will be eagerly awaiting the longer season 2. here's to hoping they can do more with a full season. | ||
