You can watch everything on Southpark.de, if Southparkstudios.com is causing problems. They put on all ( including new) episodes on there and I'm very gald they do. Also in Germany you need a proxy, hotspot shield for example. The GEMA is so stupid, they ruin their free advertisement and make sure that everybody hates them ...

The animation is way more "sophisticated" (did they expect viewers to want more "visually appealing" animations or is there just more money to burn?), kinda losing that original South Park paper-cut look. I.e. recent explosions look like cheap-on-purpose CGI, former explosions look like thats-what-you-get-out-of-cardboard. Meh... Also the stories.. back then, it was those Seinfeld'ish stories about the characters (and their interaction with each other - think Big Gay Al, Dr. Mephisto etc.), nowadays it's just about recent-event satire. Appearance of new characters are politicians, celebrities, etc. I somewhat miss the sloppy herp derp craziness of the 'genuine' South Park. Mr Parker, Mr Stone, time to get back to the roots!

The sloppy herp derp South Park was the same thing as this. It's just when they started they had over 10 years of pop culture references to include. They have exhausted a lot of those references and now need to keep up with current events. And besides, people like seeing satirical pieces on current events anyway, so it's an easy sell.
