You sir, are awesome. I highly recommend both his full length albums...the most perfectly dark/organic style. I personally love spinning them at night while in the car, or at home relaxing - doesn't matter, as long as its night and I'm alone. My SC2 tag is Burial, actually. I highly recommend searching youtube for a couple mixes he recently did with Thom Yorke (of Radiohead) and Four Tet (another artist I thoroughly enjoy). Poor quality, but nonetheless lovely. I would totally link them myself but I am at work at the moment and videos do not load.

Surprisingly enough I haven't. I missed his from dusk til doorn set the month I loved to socal and every other time he's come by either I wanted to save some money or there were other dj's I wanted to see. All that coupled with all the talent LA has coming through these days, I really have to pick and choose which dj's to go see, plus SvD normally plays a Avalon which isn't really my type of crowd, but I'll still go from time to time depending on the DJ. Also overall, imo, the quality of a SvD sets has been declining for quite some time now, albeit I haven't heard one of his sets in about a year.

I have seen him for the first time 2 weeks ago and I was totally impressed actually. Great, great set really, one of the best I have seen in some time. Worth to check out if you ask me!

Yeah, but it's either SvD or Boom Jinx this weekend. To put it in a better context, it's either a super packed club with a bunch of somewhat uppity people who are there just to be seen or a good decent crowd who is really there for the music and a good vibe and time.
