How was that show? I saw Solarstone last weekend and he freaking killed it. That set is easily going to be one of the best sets I'm going to hear this year. Also I'm getting really excited for Markus Schulz's album release party this weekend. Have tickets for both nights!! First night is a solo set from Markus 9:30pm to at least 7am. Second night is going to be awesome as well with the special guest DJ's and B2B set. If that wasn't enough I get to see Tritonal and Super8 & Tab this friday as well and Ferry Corsten next weekend. I freaking love the LA scene here, now if it wasn't so damn expensive to live hear.

Pretty upset that I have to miss ASOT 550 here in LA, due to having to house sit for my parents in Seattle and I haven't seen Armin live in over 2 years. On a good note though, I get to see Markus three times in the next month. Once this month, and twice for this release party in February. The trance line up is actually really good this month for LA: Tydi - last weekend John 00 Fleming - last weekend George Acosta - Jan 12th Aly & Fila and Sied van Riel - Jan 13th Arnej - Jan 14th Markus Schulz - Jan 19th Menno De Jong - Jan 19th ATB - Jan 19th Marcus Schossow - Jan 20th Orjan Nilsen - Jan 21st Sander Van Doorn - Jan 26th Rafael Frost - Jan 28th Plus: Sasha - Jan 21st
Don't know if I could ever move from LA with all these good acts and I'm not including the 10+ other acts that I'm not interested in musically.
Wow. So many dutch acts too. I like the fact that EDM is becoming more popular in the US. Never knew LA receives that many good DJ's. Which clubs are they playing at? This sounds like MDMA + kissing to me.
The DJ's mostly play at a Circus in Hollywood, Avalon, Sutra, Playhouse and the Yost Theatre. DJ's will also book the Music Box, and Hollywood Palladium, with massives being mostly held at the NOS Center in San Bernardino.

It was really good from what i remember of it lol. Apparently there equipment bus got stuck at the canada/michigan border so they managed to put on the show without all their own stuff. I liked the first time i saw them better cause all that was between us and them was a DJ stand, this time they were on like some upstairs deck thing so i didn't get to meet them after
Would fuckin kill to see markus and super 8 live. so jelly

Man Markus Schulz killed it for his LA '12 release party. Saturday was by far the best set I've ever heard; Markus didn't play a bad tune during his whole 10:30 solo set. Markus did his patent deep progressive start, then proceeded to build the set perfectly from there. However the Sunday night crowd was much more energetic then Saturday's, though it was an 18+ night, which isa special thing for an EDM club to do here in LA, most at 21+. I went both nights and stayed open to close for both, totaled 19 hours of from Saturday and Sunday. Super8 & Tab/Tritonal were a pretty good warm up for Markus Friday night, although I can't stand Tritonal.

actually it is (French) House Music. but as many artist do, they "evolve". today it is more a kind of Electronica. If you listen to their best Album "homework", you will recognize the house style.
Not sure if these have been posted, don't want to sift through 55 pages of music.
If you didn't already know, nervous_testpilot wrote the music for the game Frozen Synapse, he's also a big Starcraft fan (just look at the album titles of his _ensnare_ chiptune project).
2 months of putting my head into the cloud have passed - i am overwhelmed! Such a nice community, so many talented undiscovered artists sharing their awesome music. For all of you feeling to be connected to music in a "deeper" way than just occasional listening - give it a try, you won't regret it!
Today i uploaded my 4th mix featuring mostly german electronic dance music. All my mixes are rather designed to be listened to at home - so i am quite sure that some of you will like to listen to it while playing Starcraft. At least thats what i hope There is a huge variety of styles - if you don't like what you hear, skip or try another mix - the experience won't be the same If you don't like the kind of music i play at all - feel free to browse through my favourites and comments. You will find hidden gems - Tracks, Bootlegs, Sets... mostly for free Download.
PS: Comments&Feedback are appreciated! I am new to mixing music
EDIT: I already posted my link into this thread. As many things changed and i gathered lots of followers, favouritings and plays, i thought that this would justify a new post. My apologies if this is not the case.
