I don't mind the occasional use of brief vocal "effects" to enhance the progression of the song, but the singing should never be a main component of the song. Favorite example songs: Thanks in advance ![]() K long list incoming: Diplo, Major Lazer, Crookers, Dada Life, Bart B More, Steve Aoki, Nadastrom, Bird Peterson, Felix Cartal, Congorock, The count and sinden, Drop the Lime, Harvard Bass, Jack Beats, Savoy, Wolfgang Gartner I could go on, but I think that's enough to start with. Bolded are the ones I would say are the most similar to the ones you listed. I also recommend chemicaljump.com for all your electro needs. ![]()

Wow. So many dutch acts too. I like the fact that EDM is becoming more popular in the US. Never knew LA receives that many good DJ's. Which clubs are they playing at? This sounds like MDMA + kissing to me.

i am listening to electronic music since a long time. I grew up in Frankfurt, which always was a hotspot for electronic music in Germany (mostly because of the success of Sven Väth and Cocoon Recordings, but there are tons of others coming from this area). I never got into mixing myself though. This changed recently - i am doing my first steps in mixing. ![]() It's all about fun and passion, i am not aiming to become a DJ or a Producer to make a living out of it(i think i now i am too old anyways), but if some people like the music i am mixing, i feel happy. ![]() Check out my first two mixes ever to go public! Mostly, but not entirely german productions, recent releases and all time favourites. All mixes are rather a mix of Genres than sticking strictly to only one. Overall, i would consider the music to be "tech-house, techno, minimal-techno". The Sunday mix has more house parts and even a bit of breakbeat at the end. The Bruderherz mix is a conceptual one, dealing with a situation my brother was facing lately. The Sprachlos mix features only tracks without vocals, pure breathing sounds. All of the mixes are "designed" to be enjoyable at home and therefore also enjoyable for playing starcraft. Enjoy! Feedback and Comments are highly appreciated. Thanks a lot for listening. ![]() EDIT: Changed my name on soundcloud, so the link is new as well: http://soundcloud.com/professionaldreamer 200+ followers in roughly 1 1/2 months, hundreds of plays, loads of comments, favouritings and downloads. Thanks so much, Soundcloud. You are awesome!
