I've been looking into Luca Turilli's solo work, and as far as power metal goes, this stuff is legendary. Except Luca Turilli can't write slow songs for his mother's life, but his fast stuff is still mostly full ofmasterpieces. | ||

(Funk/Jazz/Trip Hop/Electronica/Djent mashup - really cool) (Fantastic instrumental metal) (More fantastic instrumental metal) (Excellent technical death/groove metal) (Epitome of djent/groove) (Meshuggah influenced grooves and rhythms) (sounds like a love child of dredg and circles, absolutely LOVE these guys) (Aggressive British rap/Groove metal mashup) (Very Devin Townsend influenced) (Really nice ambi-djent instrumental) And not metal, but who here doesn't love some Steven Wilson. Fucking Crimson haunts most days for me. Good pick! Only NWoSDM album I will listen to. Jester Race is weak to my ears. Just couldn't get into it.. but Crimson, fuck ya. When all the random riffs come together at the end is so fulfilling. Here is something a lot less intense, but in my top 5 favorite metal albums: Not quite the impact as on the October Rust cd, but awesome record. Last of the real goths. I don't care if My Dying Bride just released an album. | ||
