One of my top favorites: Mounrful Congregation (Funeral Doom) Recently discovered these guys, wish I knew about them earlier. Not the most technically talented music, but some of the realest music ever made. And yes, it is metal. Grunge is a stupid term imo. Might as well throw in a couple of my favorite Metallica songs: I like it a lot more than Mechanix. Because instrumentals are ftw and Cliff Burton was a beast. | ||

I listen to a quite wide variety of music, though mostly somewhat older bands. Anyway, let me throw down a couple of links to songs that maybe not everyone has heard: Early Scorpions from 1976: Japanese band, a song from 1989 I think (slow beginning, give it a moment) | ||
