Not sure what was worse, that or Sacred Force Extended Remix. Also, when isn't Nana live godly? lol. Anyway, concert report should be up in a couple hours or so.

I have a big thing for japanese female vocalist surf-rock punk bands, and Japanese punk in general. My favorite band of all time is GO!GO!7188 Unfortunately then have broken up, but the lead singers other band is equally amazing: Chirinuruwowaka I would recommend any of the following bands to anyone: The back horn (REALLY good alternative rock) 50 kaitenz (punkt/rockabilly) gagaga SP (melotic, fast sung punk) Jittarin jin (female vocalist 80 rock/punk) Tsushimamire (female vocalist really wierd punk/rock/alternative) Judy and mary (early mid 90s alternative female vocalist pop) Shonan no kaze (Dance hall) 倉橋ヨエコ (female vocalist relaxing pop with piano) misako oodani 小谷美紗子 (female vocalist relaxing pop with piano) flower companyz (Rock/pop) kemuri (Ska-punk) Shiina ringo (female vocalist ) Tokyo Jihen(shinna ringos spinoff band) stance punks (Punk) Tokyo skanks (Punk) mongol800 (collage punk) Going steady (Hardcore punk) ginnan boys (Hardcore punk)

Promo: Official site: http://www.piano.tt Waiting in line the whole day to get tickets and get front view was completely worth it. Chiaki Ishikawa opened for Kanno, performing some of her anime songs (including one of my favorites, Uninstall) as well as a song from her latest album.

This list should practically be for you then. I love GO!GO!7188 so much that I without any music experience started a cover band of them in Denmark in order to make them more known(at least that was the idea before they broke up)... Did you know that yuu and akko from Go!Go! started out in a Judy and Mary cover band? Jitterin jin, is the band which "Jetto ninjin" is a misheard interpretation song about. Flower companyz is one of akkos favorite bands, which they did tours with. They have also done tours with mongol800, the back horn, 50kaitenz and ore ska band. Also. Oodani misako (小谷美紗子) takes a bit time to get used to, but is certainly worth your while. Just to make sure. If you love GO!GO!. You must not miss any of their side projects: Nakashima Yuu - Ten No Mikaku hamada akiko (浜田亜紀子) - kirari Hamada Akiko - Aruyou de naiyou de Arumono And everything with CHIRINURUWOWAKA (iroha, shiroana, akayoroshi, analog) The only thing not quite GO!GO!ish on the list are the solo albums from akko, but they are REALLY good once you get used to them anyhow. Edit: Snail Ramp has some excellent numbers along with some midcore ones. But the good ones are really good.

Haha yeah, I know about GO!GO! because of their tour with 50回転ズ I'll have to check out Oodani Misako, I have all of Akko's solo albums, but didn't know that about Jitterin jin, makes sense though. Never heard about Snail Ramp before either.

I've been listening quite lot of Yakushimaru Etsuko lately, either her great album that got out in april or Sôtaiseiriron's last album in July. With her high pitched voice and pop melodies her music seems very childish but it's actually so refined, it's crazy good. The very arty music videos aren't lying.
