All our best players are finally playing on the same teams (besides Elite Wolves, how I miss them), so we're putting up a much better show in the Regional Qualifiers where all these players are rather than in the opens where stacks of random 6k players will make it to the semi-finals.

Open Qualifiers are mostly friendstacks of high level pub stacks for the most part not our best teams, so of course they will have the advantage there, I'm glad we are making them reconsider. What's the point of qualifying for regionals only to get destroyed.

Like, better at Dota, or better at not being scum? Because I feel like Grant actually has a lot of insight into the latter.
like during midgame they were talking about how mike got a lot better at dota and how he and bulba switched roles etc.
I'm not sure if he was 100% serious
It was serious.
And hey, it's not like it'd be hard for Mike to be much better than he was, so maybe he's right. Those two deaths that came straight after could have been five in a row last year.
I'm actually hoping that paiN beats Elements and that Infamous beats FDL because that makes this group a complete and total cluster fuck with a whole bunch of teams at 2-1, 2-2, or 1-2 and then like two teams at 1-3.
Just saw the EE clip on reddit lol What a play. Love the pain in the casters voice hahaha. Would he have gotten the kill if he buyed back faster? Or does spellshield block sunstrike?

How good did NP play?
I saw someone say that sunstrike was on cooldown anyways so wouldn't have mattered
That play was why I love watching EE. High rish, high reward. Such a classic. And the idea was so good. But the execution... sigh I will never understand why he didn't Euls himself

It was more high risk, medium reward, since 90% of the time he probably loses the aegis afterwards lol

he had BoT's out he woulda been fine i think
he might not have euls'd because of needing mana to BoT's though, dunno

But I feel like the play isn't so much about securing the Rosh for himself but more about denying Luna the Aegis. Even if he loses Aegis and has to buyback afterwards he delays the high ground push of pd for 8-10 mins. Which very well might have secured NP the win with a Naga on their team.
Rofl what a game. Felt like it was impossible for NP to do anything in that game for the longest time, they couldn't initiate on anyone as long as Elements just sticks together with multiple heroes while Slark moves around farming. But then luckily for NP there was that rosh fight where I believe SD&Omni got caught in the same stun by Aui and died.
Was an important win for NP too, had they lost that they would have been under quite a bit of pressure in their next games.
Elements just need like to improve their late game and they have the quality to win vs teams like NP and FDL. And they usually do max. like finals of european open qualifer for valve events. GO NA

if EE haunts scientists, then this coL vs FDL game will haunt them into the end of their days. Neutrals getting double kills. Walking straight up to a magnus and dieing as naix. Support pudge going on a rampage

ee baffles scientists in games that matter where both teams are giving their all
This pudge had better buy an AC. He'll be one hell of a right clicker with all these flesh heap stacks and radiance, and the AC helps with the meme strats as well
so they are done with this shit hub? showing only 50% of matches all day and not even bothering showing the last match? we are so lucky to have BTS really
Am I the only one triggered by Kitaro overshooting every single ball lighting? Picking SS into Disruptor Void is bold but if you can't play him then it's downright retarted.
what's everyone feelings on Aui playing carry? i'm not saying necessarily bashing his performance and given the nature of NP's roster, it wouldn't really help things if he played support but i don't know.

Well, he does the job, though i would not rely on him winning games alone in any scenario.

What happens when you ball lightning 'through' a song of the siren field to the other side, out of it's range? Still get sleeped?
Man NP is so much better than other team is Americas qualifier, yet they are still bad team. There weren't any of their games that i enjoyed watching, so disappointed.
Yeah, this is the repeat of Frankfurt major: peruvians and no Liquid. Probably this means Wings are going to underwhelm and EG will finish second after OG or Newbee.

Not quite. It means that a new team, no one really had on his radar will power through the lower bracket with the power of friendship.... And we all know that this particular team will be A fucking F

Last frankfurt the ti winner got 3rd so not sure how that is underwhelming

Sorry, i am sleep deprived.
Meant to reference CDEC so it means DC are going to underwhelm, Wings will do just fine and ....dunno who will play OG this time. OG?

It's what playing pubs on USE does to you. Slowly your brain becomes corrupted into thinking that dota has an LC spouting spanish, and when you don't have that you have no idea what to do. It helps put the players in mind of better times in pubs with peruvians.

45% in boston major matches. Sadly there is no site like datdota that tracks it so you can see total win rate. Truly low win rate are the classic puck, pudge, riki, omni and oracle.

But that was bad.
I miss Atun. Someone on Infamous made some terrible calls. Could of taken bot with no casualties, but just did the dumbest shit. Dumber then my freakin 3k pub shits.
I guess that settles that, this upcoming Major is going to be the strangest official valve event i think we'll ever see with the team's that qualified and some of the sketchy invites Valve threw out.

There's a chance we're getting Ig.V as well. Hell, even LFY has some unknowns in Monet and lpc.

And these new Chinese players may have visa issues next.
