MVP is probably the team that the best teams in the world hate playing against because their team fighting is best in class and when that fails, MVP starts to not look so good anymore. | ||

MLG in SC2 took it to the extreme, but the 3 days of group stages now are not very important. Hell, even the group stages for the 5th-8th teams are useless, since you play all these games, to have your fate decided in a Bo1. The 8th team can easy beat the 5th team say 30% of the time, and it's just way too much randomness for no reason, and gets rid of the useful of group stages, besides letting a meta develop. | ||

If you're bottom four you have to play a fucking bo1 and get seeded into the lower bracket. Number one team gets to pick between #3 or #4 in upper bracket. Number one team shits the bed and is now in losers. I don't understand your issue with the format. If it was TI4 style and OG played like that they'd still end up in losers lol. | ||
