But both have new talent. Well, in the case of Secret it's two year old talent, but still pretty new.

Isn't 2 years a long time in competitive gaming though? I wouldn't call someone a "young gun" if they started playing professionally 2 years ago in StarCraft...

Are we talking about Dota? Dota is a game that's been around for 10+ years. Arteezy was not even a professional in 2013.

RTZ was on Kaipi, he was not full-time but there is no reason to not consider him a pro by that time. Also, StarCraft been here longer than Dota and 2 years is still a long time in it.

He was playing in his off time; were we to consider every player who's ever tried to play tournaments on a third rate team a pro, then no one in Dota is new. Except Sumail.

My point exactly.

That's a stupid way of looking at this game. By that argument, no one in Starcraft is new too.

And what makes you think this argument is wrong? Also, i talk tier 2/3 teams in WPC ACE, i don't talk about random online qualifiers.

Because it is wrong. Playing on a fully professional team is very different from playing on a team that doesn't even have a team house.

Lol, how many teams do you think had team houses from TI1-4?

Every top Chinese team + the best Western teams.

"One" meaning one tournament, of course. Misery's the only good player on the team, the others should've faded into irrelevance after TI4. I feel bad for Jack for paying them.

i still think swapping aui_2000/pld out was stupid

pld I didn't mind too much but losing Aui was a mistake.

they were a package pair and at least c9 was consistent

now they just flop and on extremely rare occasions give you hope

i miss SPG

idk if c9 even gives you hope now

at TI4 C9 beat VG IG and EG in groups

this TI they lost 2-0 to every team above them and 2-0ed every team below them in their group except Navi

they're just another shitty mediocre european also ran, no magic at all
do you have enough resolve, hero of justice?

They're doing a really stellar job building storylines for this TI and I love it, but it's a bit unfortunate to have so much footage to get through when things are already running so late.

Fata and notail deserve better than to be on c9. Misery has never impressed me too much. Bone and EE are incapable of tournament play.

the worst shit is if they beat VG/Na'Vi then flop in their next match

I think it'd be worse if they flopped to VG/Na'Vi.

c9 does this little thing where they give you hope and then crushes it

C9 has a really bad record against VG. I think VG understands how they approach the game very well. Of course VG has to make it to them first.

C9 does not have a team house, does that not make them professional? Hell, Empire were renting out a house for their bootcamp as well.

Every top Chinese team + the best Western teams.

So Universe and Aui are new players because the first 3-4 years of their careers they didn't have a team house.

Logic seems solid, confirmed new players better than everyone.
