I guess the demise of the Chinese was greatly exaggerated. LGD and especially CDEC was pretty impressive.

I wouldn't call someone a "young gun" if they started playing professionally 2 years ago in StarCraft... Are we talking about Dota? Dota is a game that's been around for 10+ years. Arteezy was not even a professional in 2013. RTZ was on Kaipi, he was not full-time but there is no reason to not consider him a pro by that time. Also, StarCraft been here longer than Dota and 2 years is still a long time in it. He was playing in his off time; were we to consider every player who's ever tried to play tournaments on a third rate team a pro, then no one in Dota is new. Except Sumail. My point exactly.

How did they fuck this up so badly. Jesus fucking christ. They should all retire after TI. Never going to win one. Bleh. the worst shit is if they beat VG/Na'Vi then flop in their next match I think it'd be worse if they flopped to VG/Na'Vi.
c9 does this little thing where they give you hope and then crushes it

Misery's the only good player on the team, the others should've faded into irrelevance after TI4. I feel bad for Jack for paying them. Can you stop it please Mensol? I will stop shitting on them when they start being good.

That's a stupid way of looking at this game. By that argument, no one in Starcraft in the last several years is new too.

I don't want to start an argument about mechanical demand, but from their respective histories, it's pretty clear that Starcraft is a game that's way more punishing to older players that are past their prime. The comparison to Starcraft in this regard is really not that appropriate.

Nobody comes out of no where. Doesn't = there isn't new talent.
