Gonna be a treat seeing RTZ vs. Sumail. They've both been monstrous this tournament.

can't really compare them when rtz plays 1 position and suma1l goes mid mainly

s4 and suma1l though .. also if you follow NA scene rtz usually owns suma1l on the midlane with even~ish matchup

I'm not talking about the laning stage, more like their overall performances.

then again if that's the case you can't compare them

you can compare s4 and suma1l though but if you wanna compare them like for storyline or some shit then sure

Why wouldn't they be comparable? They both play cores and have quite a few overlapping heroes like Lesh and SF for instance. I find it very easy to compare their performances in a game.

Cause after the laning phase you will find rtz farming and suma1l doing s4/zai things. That's why but if you wanna really compare then rtz is obviously better. Like sure suma1l plays more heroes but suma1l does a lot stupid shit like feeding necessarily. You won't see that with rtz.

is it rated? idk I thought it was funny but I don't usually go to reddit if it's used all the time or something. sunsfan is probably my favorite caster because humor and having fun > talking about who is last hitting.

He used to be my most disliked player, but he really, really has. You can even see it when he's just casually pubbing. Dude is seriously good.

When Arteezy first joined EG you could tell he was something else. He was a remarkable talent, young and brash, but if he was on his game he was easily a step above everyone in the world. He was something special.

Unfortunately there were the internal issues in EG and he very obviously lost his passion. Even right after joining Secret he wasn't his old self. But now it's pretty obvious he got his spark back. He's confident, he's knocked the malaise off and he's looking like the old Arteezy again. He's back to being the single most dominant player there is and he's quite terrifying.

I would have seriously wanted the old eg more than this new secret honestly both rosters had similar potential

also EE wasn't kidding before when he said that rtz is far better than anybody he's ever played with during the times they still 1v1'd and talked alot

he literally was a step above if you consider that he changed the mid meta and many teams scrambled to get their mids to learn to play the heroes he did. being ahead in the optimal way to play a role is definitely "a step ahead"

I'm sad EG didn't sort things out and stick together. The roster was easily the strongest team in the world skill wise.

I would have seriously wanted the old eg more than this new secret honestly both rosters had similar potential

also EE wasn't kidding before when he said that rtz is far better than anybody he's ever played with during the times they still 1v1'd and talked alot

even rtz admitted that if they weren't being like children and actually fixed the prroblem everything would have been gucchi

also both ppd (says that old eg has a higher individual skill cap than new eg) and rtz says secret isn't really above old eg he believes the old eg could do the same as secret did

man eg please

It's amazing EG is still a top tier even after their two major players left. PPD as a captain and drafter can shape up any team.

People give Sumail shit, but just from this tournament alone, he's already progressing into a much more solid player then his "yolo" plays we've seen over the few months. Of course I can probably eat my own words during this grand finals, but I think there's a consensus of giving this kid way more shit than he deserves.
Getting too old for this..

I hope the caster duos of this tournament will do most games at TI5 aswell. Can anyone imagine Lumi, Ayesee, LD casting the games of ESLOne? ODPixel is alright I guess.

Blitz, Cap, Synderen, Tobi work so well together.

Arteezy really has become an even better player the last few months.

Eh, why ruin something good by exaggerating. He is a remarkable talent, he's easily one of the best players in the world, but he wasn't 'easily a step above everyone in the world' when he first joined EG.

He wasn't consistent at first. But you could tell if he played at 100% he was the best player on the planet.

It's such a pointless argument to make. He pushed boundaries, noone would deny that. But to call him clearly or easily better at the time than Fy, than MMY... It's just not a useful discussion. Plus in Arteezy's case (at least at the time) the qualifier 'when he's at 100%' is a pretty gigantic one. Of course a player who takes a crapton of risks is going to look incredible when they all pay off.
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

He plays like he was in DAC, confident and little pressured in lane. Funny thing, he is having a cold.
