not the best cast tho. Merlini and LD were way off the mark for 30 minutes, you could clearly see that tinker had it in the bag after axe got the crimson. The rest of the armour soon followed.

Man alliance doesn't have much to play for in their next game... if they lose they get to play against execration. That might end up being scarier than VP, but based on what everyone thought coming in to the tournament maybe that's the path of least resistance for them...

Hmm yea I think nothing wrong with c9 item choices. Its just the decision of forcing high ground without Agha or enough farm on envy. Its not even the push that they did without pie, since the siege began prior to that. They loss so many heroes which gave lots of gold for axe and centaur. With all the advantage that c9 had, they should have farmed more until Envy can snowball in net worth.

Game should have been comfortably won by c9. The reason draw didn't hurt was that axe/centaur's net worth were comparable with hers, which shouldn't happen at all given their advantage.

Crimson guard was good, but I wouldn't say that is the counter to c9's draft, or that tinker lineup effectively counters it. You have to recognise that it was more of c9 losing the game than tinker winning the game.

Nice counter strat. I'm sure TT must have thought a fair bit about it going into today's game. For ultra sick Drow / Visage strats you need VG to do it :D.

I am under the impression that Cloud 9 picks their unique lineups too stubbornly and frequently, regardless of enemy team. Is this the case? I used to like their funky drafts, but disappointing results recently have made me wonder.

I think bkb before S&Y was way more important for drow (almost allways). Bad call to go bkb as 5th item is just to late against the burst centaur and other skills.
