The allstar match had cheats enabled. After an ancient got spawned in the middle of the map (prolly by cyborgmatt), people started giving themselves gold/xp. Which was fine until players started spawning roshans and diretide roshans etc. Eventually people started lagging etc.
The casters blamed cyborgmatt for spawning the roshes when it was the players or something. Queue reddit witchhunt.

No it does not matter who spawned the Roshans and it does not matter how much of them was spawned. The only thing that matters is that the cheats were turned on and someone has brought it to players' attention by spawning random stuff. The game was already ruined at that point even without the Roshes. Instant level 25 and free Dagon 5 on any hero is fine? I don't think so.
Most people wanted to see a normal game with unusual team and hero lineups played by their favourite players. People voted for that in their compendiums. Some people may have even decided to buy a ticket because of that (to reach the stretch goal). The fact that there were cheats at all is what ruined the match and made the stretch goal pointless.

agree with this. regardless of what vilat says or anyone at SL claims, the fans wanted an all-star match, not some sv_cheats shit. it'd be at a minimum cool if they can atleast apologize instead of making up claims of needing a sponsor before doing it again. as above poster said, many people may have bought the ticket solely for that, which inadvertently is their acclaimed sponsor.
tldr; tomorrow will be a crazy day for C9. gl EE- no fucking mercy.

I'm not really sure how this is the tenth rendition of this tournament. The number of technical problems, broadcasting several minutes of solid Russian interviews on the English stream... I'm surprised at how amateur this has been.

i think most starladders have had a similar level of production, almost every tournament has issues/delays

nice to see that the organizers are making c9 run the gauntlet without much (if any) rest in between, even when they have a 4th match they could've put in between. and the joke of an all star match, the least they could have done is remake the game.

i would have felt so bad for singsing if they had remade match. Look at the morning he has coming up as it is.
All-Star matches are stupid. That one was just particularly stupid, but blessedly short.
And I bought the ticked long ago prior to the online portion for what its worth,and dont feel like I got cheated, but it was REALLY stupid.
I don't buy tickets for stretch goals... don't know who would, but maybe some. The goodies (sets and stuff) are a bonus but I buy ticket for Starladder because it has a TON of games and I like to be able to watch in client/watch the replays.
