alliance has been guilty of having pretty shitty drafts/gameplans on and off since ti3 too
ill say it once more, if between ti3 and ti4 they tried putting s4 in offlane and bulldog carries in mid, they mighta done better overall. but there were some questionable support duos too
this was a gr8 draft though i lub dat wd/es/viper/slark
i think the batrider was actually a weak point but hard to exploit it when you have a fucking doom jungle and an am that needs babysitting from your ogre (OGRE THE BABYSITTER) like some allpick pub

3rd/4th determines which team from the other group you play but apart from that yes it's the same.

I thought it was a CIS team that first consistently went for blink Slark, and after searching on datdota it was TR - but yea Loda slark was the first tier 1 slark to bring it up

It's funny how alliance stopped drafting farming heroes for Bulldog, when the version is good for it and he had great success with heroes like nature profit or beardog or even bounty bob. Basically he plays only batrider right now, it's a waste of his talent imo (even tho he's not playing very well right now )
