Past the laning stage, it was always going to be eg's game because narvi did not have a good farm advantage from their superior laning. Their only tempo controller is mirana, while the other 4 cannot contribute much because they are defensive by nature. OD needed to rice, BB's awkward in that his team can't fight while he wants to fight. Basically its a pretty crappy draft with only 1 route to success, that is stomping the laning phase.

They still have 2 matches to go and day 2 is supposed to start in 9 hours. Fnatic seems to be getting fucked over quite hard. They play the last match tonight and the second match tomorrow. I wonder how much sleep they will get. most of the teams arrived 1-2 days early, only VG arrived the day before

At some point you need to say look get in the room, set up your stuff, you are playing in 10 minutes. Leave after you lose. some of the team setups were 40-50 minutes long - I get that they're going for a relaxed friendly atmosphere but shits gotta move

They should have given more time to the group stage. They also scheduled an EU team for the last 2 slots, which is plain stupid.

I think their schedule for day 2 is less congested so hopefully its better.

I personally wouldn't phrase it so abrasively, but I definitely agree with the sentiment. I feel like the CN teams should have played later and the Euros should have played earlier, if at all possible. Try to minimize the effect of time zone differences and stuff. edit: and I look dumb right now, didn't realize the International Date Line makes China ahead of the US instead of behind.
