His big splash on the scene was on that global tour, with team BG(boulgaria, basically him and djrasta) when they were the only team to beat a top chinese, with a allin 5man push strat. Don't remember which tournament it was.

That BG team beat Scythe no?. But was Goblin really on that team? Can't really remember but i think it was ESWC.

I thought he rose to prominence with Wolker Gaming. Together with Travka and Dendi

Well the American team not doing very well. How can they do well if others train more. Too bad. Maybe better luck next year. Lots of money on the line.

Let's see... He was on iV'aN. Pretty sure he was on eSahara. He was on Na'Vi in their early iterations. He was on KS. He was on DTS's attempt to rebuild after their good teams broke up. He was on TR for a while.

I really hope people will keep watching even if only Chinese teams are remaining. The viewership/post count for TSL4 semis (no foreigners) is a bit sad right now.

you have to admit, if you had to pick one country to watch your game, china would be a pretty good one to pick

Well, it's good for me since I speak Chinese
But I think we're already starting to see problems with international viewers tuning out of SC2. It's a bit of a bitter pill to swallow if it turns out that only East Asia can maintain big esports scenes.

Is there any e-sport that is truly competitive across all 3 major continents?

maybe fighting games?

Don't follow fighting games but from watching a little bit of EVO it felt like the USA and Japan show with a sprinkling of other countries.

Not many if at all. But to be fair, how many sports are competitive across all 3 major continents. If you look at the Olympics, you see that certain countries/regions tend to dominate in most sports.
