Yeah, great. Gotta make sacrifices sometimes. If shit wouldn't start as late, I'd at least be able to catch A series. But not even one. Nothing. NICHTS! So depressing. I won't even be able to watch the grand finals I just noticed as well. I'll move to whatever timezone next year's international is held. @above, yea 9PM cest, but I gotta start working at 8pm, so also no preshow for me. I'll get home at around 6am, so I might eventually catch the end of something, while being ridiculously tired. You're working night shift and complaining about timezone? these are the most convenient times for most of us..

At 6am there will be nothing actually, game will end up a lot earlier :\ I'm pretty sure You can catch the re-broadcast on the next day. 9pm seems perfectly fine, both for US and EU (evening).

While it sucks that someone misses an event like this, this is WAY better scheduled than any MLG event there ever has been (for Europeans). Okay, even if it would start later, i'd be able to watch everything. But even if you have work the next day, you still might be able to catch few games.

I don't see how it's convenient, when my work starts an hour before the event starts, while I get home when the event probably just finished.

I don't see how it's convenient, when my work starts an hour before the event starts, while I get home when the event probably just finished. Like he said, for most of us. His point was you cannot really complain about the timezone and/or event time when you work during the evening / night when other people are free and events are usually hosted. It's you who has a strange schedule :-) It's not a very big deal though, I assume VODs will be up straight away at http://www.twitch.tv/dota2ti/profile/pastBroadcasts so you can just watch it when you wake up. If you want to watch live you can always take a couple days off work (or call in sick ...).

Well, my bad then I understood it that way, that he was saying that my night shift would be the best to watch all the games, which is why I was confused. Anyway I'll try to get the best out of it. At least I like my job regardless.
