On the whole LGD vs Alliance debate: it's worth considering that Alliance's recent 'standard' drafts were more effective / stronger than those of LGD. LGD's standard drafts were decent but not spectacular - however that may well be 100% irrelevant come playoffs because I would be massively surprised if they were to bring the same game they've been showing for the past few months and in groupstages onto the playoffs as well. Comparing individual skill of top tier players based on a bunch of games that weren't even played vs each other or same opponents is pretty dumb. It's pretty much impossible to determine which player is "better" at a specific point in time because there are simply too many variables, both in and out of game. Just look at XBOCT.

The game itself, probally not. There will be commentary between the games that you will miss if you watch it exclusively ingame and last year they also had some streams IIRC, showing the player booths, for example.

Loda > or = Sylar? Look I'm a major Loda fan and have always believed him to be the top non-Chinese carry, but the past few days have shown that Sylar is now the premier carry playing from behind (until maybe Burning faces a similar scenario). And that's the deal with the carry - in a normal game where you have a slight or great advantage, the carry will definitely farm well and own face. But in the reverse situation...

Anyway Loda has had some wonderful moments carrying his team from behind but those comebacks were also led by AB. For Sylar, he's usually been the one to drag his team from behind (by getting solo kills, exchanging kills even in lopsided teamfights, pushing and farming for pressure, etc) to the point where they can actually fight their 5-man doto style that's so effective.

Navi has better skilled players overall. They generally rely on outplaying opposition and good drafts to win. Alliance are a very strong team, but weaker individually. Their successes are attributed to their perfected play style. You see them doing the same thing over and over again, but you just struggle with their masterred patient calculative split pushing style mixed with cheese.

Anyone know if the starting time for the first game is the starting time for the whole event or just the game. As last time they showed a little video, talked a bunch pre-show.
