DK is the only team to have taken a game off Alliance this entire tournament and, even before facing Alliance, it seems to me they consistently played solid, clean DotA and didn't make too many stupid drafts (granted I don't know much about DotA but they won a lot of games so the drafts can't have been horrible). Meanwhile, the team everyone had placed their hopes on as the only challenger to the Alliance throne (Na'vi) didn't even give as good a fight as LGD did.

It is so enjoyable if you like to watch high level, perfectly executed dota. It is less enjoyable if all you want to see is kills and Russian dota. Admittedly, Orange are more exciting because they are both playing extremely aggressive dota AND executing perfectly.

There are rumors that the documentary will be available shortly afterwards for streaming; hopefully that turns out to be the case.

Rooting for either Navi or Orange to win this. If Orange wins TI3, it will be a story of a team improving so much throughout the tournament (Mushi and kyxy have really stepped up alot). If Navi wins TI3, it will be about a class team performing in clutch moments. If Alliance wins TI3, it will be about a team that is the most prepared and a well deserved best team of the tournament.
All 3 teams are worthy of TI3 title I must say. I'm glad there's no Chinese teams around because honestly none of them have shown to deserve the title. May the best team win. People should learn to speak for themselves. And let's be honest: PPY is superior to Loda in terms of douchbaggery and cockyness. My bad. I wanted to remove the generalised 'all', but I forgot while typing. I realised that there are Alliance fans around. Still my point being that although Alliance are favourites, it seems like many people prefer other teams to win whenever Alliance plays.
Loda has never been a popular player, due mostly to his passive playstyle and his reputation for making sure the entire team revolves around him. He's reformed his attitude a lot since the old days, though. NTH and Alliance have undeniably not been nearly as Loda-centric.

I guess Orange is somewhat chinese, at the very least they speak the language. Quite alot of the people there are descendants of the original Han chinese settlers. They may no longer be chinese/han, but I guess the language similarity is good enough for me to cheer them on. GO Orange!!! Is this as bs as claiming polt is american?

But I disagree with you in general. Zhou is not a strong carry player right now in terms of decision making or ability to play heroes. He's still trying to play morphling. He can't play alchemist and he's pretty mediocre on gyro. In any case, not having a strong 1 position and having to rely on ferrari to carry is hurting them. I've always thought Zhou was not that great of a carry player even since TI2 where they were dominating. He's incapable of carrying his team when other players aren't doing well.

It IS entertaining to watch when teams understand it and play it correctly. DK Alliance game 1+2 were that exciting because of it.
The really fun thing is that to correctly abuse it one needs a mix of a few classic elements imo. Take something like a BM or DK mid and play it like only a Xiao8 or Super did so far, be at least as efficient in the jungle as Alliance is and rice up properly on split pushing carries yourself.
That was the winning combination of Burnings draft in game #2. Most teams either let Bulldog develop too well or they crumble in the late game against the splitpush.
