New "mode", daily hero that gives 25 points, it's 1 hero per day (at server time) or the new hero you get it "rerolling" the completed hero?

I was playing kunkka safelane (radiant) vs necrolyte and like slark or something and I just couldn't do anything; I was so low on health all the time because he was maxing his heartstop or whatever it's called. I didn't know what to do in that situation; I just kept constantly flying out tangoes, but I felt like I was having way harder of a time than I should since I didn't think i should be buying tranquil. Apart from the obvious getting help from your team and ganking them, you have to realize that various heroes, or in this case skillbuilds, are kinda meant for winning lanes but does little or nothing afterwards. Its like when you go up against Viper or Lich or something in lane, you often just have to accept that you'll lose the lane knowing that both heroes have a hard time turning their lane dominance into something too dangerous in the midgame. Apart from flying extra regen, look to break up the laning stage as early as possible. They win as long as you passively stay in the lane, but if you can force rotations around the map and force skirmishes/fights then in this case the maxed Heartstopper will do them little good. Theres a reason Necros almost always maxes Q first, without it hes absolutely useless in fights. Another small tip could be to move out of aura range whenever no creeps are dying so you dont miss any exp (or last hits if you're in position to get any). As kunkka maybe you can hold out until 6 and then move somewhere? Depending on skillbuild you could consider ganking earlier too although moving around too much as the safelane farmer can be a very high risk thing to do since if your movements dont yield much gain you'll be severly behind, which is really bad if your team dpends on you carrying. If you're doing the carry work you should in an organized setting have people come gank for you, although I know that wont happen as often as you'd like in pubs.

Abandon the lane, try to win/farm the other 2 lanes is the best option.

It's not server time. Click 'reroll' and you'll get a hero. After 24 hours you can hit reroll again, and presumably you get 25 points then if you've completed your hero.

0)Kill Necrophos (or the other laner, Necrophos is low impact) with X->Torrent->LSA->Dragon Slave. I'm assuming this didn't work for some reason. 1)As soon as you see the Heartstopper debuff on yourself, buy a casual ring of regen. It'll roughly halve the impact of the aura early and pay itself off towards the end of the laning phase. 2)Send your support to do pullthroughs. This gets her out of aura range for a bit. Then maybe trade off to get yourself out of aura range. 3)Pull the creep wave behind your tower whenever possible. Alternatively, you can get a break from the aura by nuking down the creep wave and backing off while their tower kills yours. 4)Stack a camp several times. Aside from giving one of you a break from the aura every minute, you can pair farm it efficiently to recover after being forced b.

You're probably better off buying tangoes if you aren't using the ring of regen in any recipes. 375 gold in tangoes (25 more than ring) will get you 1380 hitpoints of healing (115HP/charge * 4 charges * 3 tango batches) which would take 11 and a half minutes for the RoR to heal. By the time the RoR is more efficient you should have already hit 6+ and can just move on to other things instead of standing around in lane, especially since Necro will be near useless if he only has heartstopper. RoR would have the advantage of possibly not requiring the courier. I suppose you could do both if you really need to stack the regen, but if you aren't planning on using the RoR you're probably just better off with Tangoes into an item you actually want. Well ok if you sell the RoR later you're talking about 1 or 2 tangoes vs 1 RoR in value (125 or 250 vs 175), but even then it's 4 minutes for the RoR to be more efficient in healing than 1 tango and ~8 minutes for 2 tangoes.

I try to get in the zone, listen to a good radio station, stretching, warming up, queue up a game, greet my allies, call mid, proceed to play reasonably well (at least relatively speaking), my shit allies do questionable shit, i lose a bit of focus, they do more retarded shit, and eventually im just so mad my brain doesnt even work anymore. you guys have any advice how to remain calm and not lose focus? truth be told, i dont even give a shit about losing, it's just pubs, what frustrates me is when i lose focus and dont play well. any advice is appreciated. ty in advance

It's not a very good game to play if you get mad easily, csgo would be better. Boxing/MMA would be even better than csgo.

Bear should be able to, but the value of a blinking bear seems extremely minimal considering it's already high MS and ability to return to the hero at will (with similar damage-cooldown rules to blink anyway). Unless you go full Dota 2 Bugs and buy courier through the Spirit Bear, enjoy your midas shivas couriers: but it was fixed, sadly ![]()

I've played plenty of Dota and HoN (and more recently Dota 2), but not LoL. I was wondering if someone may briefly explain why people refer to LoL as a "casual", or "easy", game? I was under the impression that they were fairly similar. What specific attributes of Dota 2 make it the more "hardcore" game? Or are these descriptors completely fallacious?
