they changed axe's spin chance to PRD but supposedly it shouldn't affect how often you spin the vast majority of the time

PRD should really be a buff to axe jungle, because it makes his spins more consistent. His jungle didn't depend on super lucky spin chains, but it did get screwed if he got whole camps that didn't spin him once. That should happen a lot less now.

Comparatively, I do feel it was a bit of a nerf to his ganking, because he could outright win a game if he got an RNJesus call at the right time.

The heroes your team needs which also works well against what your enemies have

Otherwise wraith king and mirana seem to be favourites for many people lately.

sorry i think i should rephrase: i want to be calibrated high and i've heard that playing carries and just getting high game stats is the way to go. i'll assume my 4 teammates are totally shitty, given that assumption, what then is the best choice?

Tinker, since he tends to get good farm and huge damage done even when you're losing badly. He's also great for fountain farming. Do the Blink/Dagon/EB build.

However, remember that you'll likely be the worst player in the game every single game you play after calibration if you abuse it.

Don't go with this shitty mentality please, it's what makes dota so toxic at times.

thanks, i'm well aware of the fact that i'll be the worst player ever but it should be okay for the purposes of a bet with friends

Best would be counterpicking in AP when the enemy team allready picked all there heros, assuming your equally skilled on all avaible hero's.

Picking what your team needs.

Even if it's true that calibration influenced by K/D/A (there isn't really a proof of it) you will increase a lot more if you win your games. So don't pick heroes that screw over your team.

It's like when people start to blame me in game because i don't have high kda (i'm support main, 5.5k).
Ofc, when you play 1/2 position, you have bigger kda, holy shit, there is no reason to say that you're better when you're not.

It's not influenced by KDA. Only %winrate it seems, because of it there are a lot of smurf tryhards who spend their time to get 3k in the end.

So I'm back here again to ask about using heroes in the my favourite role: the offlane.

I'm really interested to learn Tuskar- but I would prefer not to play mid. Do you guys think he can be a good offlaner?

Besides that, I'd like to ask about offlane Puck- when is it a good idea to pick this hero for offlane? To bottle or not to bottle? Is the best build boots first? Should you roam, or focus on just leeching exp? Basically I need general gameplay tips for offlane puck.

Does anyone know the shortcut for skipping the countdown in hero selection screen for the private lobby? Unless changed, there was a combination of keys (example is like alt+shift) and it would just jump straight into the game after picking instead of waiting the whole minute. I just hate creating a hero with zero bots and after picking my hero, I have to wait during the countdown. Trying to recall how to jump straight in.

P.s. It is not considered a command so not mentioned in the command list sadly.

For me it just does this automatically, i don't have to enable anything or use any commands.
If i'm the only player in the game it automatically ends the countdown after i've picked.

Go try again, you can click 'play' right away.

So if alone it will do it automatically but if one other person, can't be skipped?

Yes, it's unique to when you're alone and the only human player.

Puck offlane is easy, you basically survive, don't waste phase shift on useless aa when there are cc available and don't waste orb when you don't see enemy mid on the map.
Also you can do like Funn1k and go cliff if everything is bad for you.

Boots first is viable, then bottle, right. Leech exp until at least you get 6 if you're not cliffing, after dagger you will be way more useful anyway.

Dunno about Tuskar offlaner, i guess, with new snowball he's better support than before because of snowball change, but E should help you to survive with stout shield.

I'm pretty sure if you're in a private lobby by yourself, you can just hit Play Game?

if you alt-enter on loading screen you'll load out your hero. when you're the only human it starts the game immediately, but otherwise, you'll hear the character loaded "ding" and youll get the bit of hang that comes with it (this disables repick i think)
