The second enemy safe lane solo is missing, your offlane should call it (common situation is the safelane walks home to heal, could potentially tp to your safe lane for a gank, your offlane should be relaying this) and your tri should hide, especially if the mid is missing as well. You only really have to TP in the entire team if they've committed to a dive, they shouldn't be able to get kills on 3 heroes hiding in the trees between T1 and T2 somewhere unless they have an amazing diving lineup (in which case, TP out everybody who cant run from the lane, maybe to push down the enemy safe or mid lane as a trade.) Always go for trades with TPs if it's clear you can't win fights at all yet, but remember that picking off diving enemies is way easier than skirmishing 5v5 outside of tower range, so don't underestimate your own team either.

Thanks. I think many of pub game problems is that people do not decide what to do in time in order to trade efficiently. Probably most because of bad comminication.

How come Tiny was extremely popular mid in pubs in hon but in dota2 I rarely ever see it?

Its probably though because people regard him much more as a hard carry since thats what you see him in pro games as. Stuff like that tends to follow the pro scene and if some team would bring back tiny mid into meta you can be sure pubs would follow suit soon.

tiny has really low utility compared to other mid heros. So if you go mid with him and get a dagger it is hard for him to be useful after 25 minutes. I have seen dagger -> bot rush + manta a couple of times but i wasn't impressed. Also melee heros have some awful matchups if you put a melee hero mid it usually has a very specific purpose, dragon knight for example is a really good tower pusher. Naga is melee but if you micro properly you can outfarm a lot of ranged heros and even if she loses mid you can easily catch up after radiance. Pudge is mid because if you don't have a level advantage with pudge the hero can't do anything. I have seen a couple of offlane pudges in my games and every single one of them sucked.

Is it? I hadn't seen Pebbles for ages, even tho i'm almost 1900.
Tiny is probably easiest guy to get points if you're playing alone. And he does pretty well on mid without bottlecrowing, you don't need to farm creeps with skills and you can just oneshot every mid if you have enough mana on 6-9 and so on. For mid - arcanes/dagger/cuirass/scepter is legit, for #1 position if you're safe - midas/pt/drums if noone got them, else just rush scepter/cuirass/bkb or manta or even both but i don't like both. if you're not safe - pt/drums/scepter, skip midas. Midas is pretty good in that case because you can just get grow at 6 and still be fast and furious.

Do the effect from veil of discord stack with the ethereal status from ethereal blade, and if so, how? Let's say I have a spell that does 100 damage, how much damage would this spell do on an enemy if I use both ethereal blade and veil of discord on the enemy before casting the spell? Assuming no additional magic resistance items or skills.

all magic damage amp/reduction is mulplicative 1.4 * 1.25 * .75 eth * veil * base hero resist

Hatchet makes life infinitely easier in HoN because you have guaranteed cs, plus hatchet increasing your deny damage also does wonders
|
im pretty sure that qb increases your deny damage in dota? I used to pick tree mid against sf and buy qb just so i could go to lane with 3x my opponents damage and im pretty certain that it does the increased damage to allied creeps too.
ps. being able to do more damage with an autoattack then his level 1 raze is pretty funny.
|
Pebble's toss in HoN used to always take the closest unit as well which made him a MUCH more reliable ganker with blink since you could ALWAYS get the combo for extra damage or the toss-back to your team even if the enemy was hugging creeps etc. And without the aghs ult his utility lay in burst nuke not in carrying.

Arcanes+Blink Tiny still transitions back into Agha+AC/Manta the same way carry Tiny does, just off of midgame gank/teamfight gold rather than raw farming.
This makes mid Tiny a bit dependent on getting gold off of that, which makes him decent in pubs if you can snowball that phase of the game, but non-ideal in competitive play because competitive teams are much better at playing damage control against a hero that is reliant on snowballing that hard.

Is a reliable slow on razor more impactfull in the early/mid game then more speedboosting items? I considered options like orb of venom, skadi, sange, atos. These items have other disadvantages, are less reliable or seem lategame items. A diffusal blade however could have less disadvantages....
Diffusal gives extra damage, attackspeed, armour, manaburn, reliable slow and a purge. If i can purge 8 targets with a diffusal blade to secure kills it could be worth it. The active seems descent and i doubt i need more purges then 8/16 in a typical game to get myself to snowball a win. Purge gives 3 seconds of immobility into a 1 second slow. If my static link is lvl4 i should gain approx 100+ extra damage per attack and a nice manaburn to boot then standard razors ussually get.
tonight pinky....

No, on razor you build tankiness items because he gets free damage for being alive. You shouldn't need a slow to get static-link to work in 1v1 scenarios since u have an MS passive (and buy phase) and in more complex teamfight scenarios thats what teammates are for. You just need to not die because razor is a squishy agi hero with shit stat gain (although that actually got buffed a lot in 6.81).
Diffusal is cute but overcosted for giving 0 survivability on a hero that simply needs survivability. After mek your 2nd item should be either aghs or something sange-based IMO for tankiness. PS i hate aghs but w/e its a real build.

I'd consider AC and BKB as acceptable Mek follow-ups as well depending on the game.
