Good point. The internet does tend to breed stupidity at an alarming rate. Also, I'm on a 13-2 run in my last 15 games. Mostly using Drow, Lich (the first 2 I ever learned. I know I'm a noob), KoTL, and Lion. What other ranged heroes, preferably carries, would be remotely comparable to any of these? I know melee heroes can be very good, but I just cannot get good with any of them. Even after a few hundred games... which actually brings up another question: What is a VERY noob friendly melee carry hero that you would recommend for someone who plays borderline retarded like me?

because right now singsing is jumpping to the runespots just by keys. dont think he grouped the wards, because they arent centered when he jumps there.

Rage is some spell and infest + a mobility hero lets you initiate really well without worrying about how awful being melee is. Lol I'll give him a shot. I like his built in BKB ability. Thanks!

I don't know the exact coordinates for the runes so just google "Dota 2 rune camera hotkeys" or something like that. That's so awesome. I'd like to be able to put more of my APM to use. I would probably bind runes and towers or something for fast TP.

A few things extra APM can do: Click enemy heroes periodically to check for new items Check runes every 2 minutes Stack camps (preferably ancients) with illusions or a dominated creep (via helm of the dominator) Scout with illusions/controlled creeps. Heroes that buy a manta especially can use their illusions to make sure that their farm is safe. Play heroes like chen, meepo and enchantress who need to control multiple minions Babysit your courier (keep an eye on it make sure it doesn't "get ganked" lol. Fly it over trees if you can) Plus other standard things like map awareness. Also check scoreboard for enemy hero levels periodically when they are around level 6 usually.

it was just that pre-nerf tranq + vit booster was generally better because of the price difference and higher rate of regen like a pooled AM who goes tranq first freefarms against offlane ds idk how that's fair vg's pretty good on spec because spec's innate dps is so high anyway, so living longer in fights is a big deal. also it makes him very difficult to gank it's not bad on pl but he really needs another item after it before he makes an impact on the game

Memorize item timings and warn your team. Deward everything. If you can do this while harassing, running ganks and being aggressive, that's hard. Checking locations or checking items while jungling is not hard.

Playing Tinker. Early to mid game he's pretty solid at ganking and I can get a lot of kills but late late game I just find myself unable to actually do meaningful damage. Yesterday I went lasers rockets dagon, reload, lasers rockets and the Pudge was still at like half health... Anything I can do to increase my damage output? Or is that just not my role? Most of the time I'm just teleporting from top to bottom lane and pushing back creep waves or using Scythe to help in team fights, but otherwise I don't have much stopping power even at max level :/

unless you can pin down other heros in your multi-march there isnt much dmg you deal. esp to tanky heorsl ike pudge. tinker is more like a split-pusher while the rest of your team works on the other heros. and if you are in teamfights, you should march first and laser their main-dmgdealer. spam the rest of your items/skills and reload to repeat or reposition.

personally i think the best item build on tinker is dagon 5/eblade/hex. dagon5 and eblade gives good damage late game but most importantly the ethereal status is really good when trying to control their team. and thats what tinker is, hes a hero thats supposed to shutdown enemy heroes. march in advance of pushes, and when theyre starting to fight just eblade, dagon 5, hex, rocket and rearm. thats all you have to do to win teamfights. if that isnt enough, then your teammates either arent suitable for lategame, didnt find enough farm, or are bad.

I've heard Tinker is one of the best pushers in the game. Just by myself I'm able to spam march across all the lanes and push the creeps all the way back. What do you think about a heaven's halberd on Tinker against guys like Ursa? With Scythe and Halberd/Laser Rearm you can basically shut down two heroes for your teammates to bash on.

Tinker can splitpush lanes pretty well, but unlike a lot of other splitpushers (like Furion or AM) he doesn't really do damage to towers. Personally I wouldn't ever get a Halberd on Tinker as it doesn't really give you anything you want. It doesn't increase your mana pool, its active is made worthless by BKB, and it doesn't do damage. I personally like the Sheep/Dagon5/Eblade build that Qojqva and Bulba use. EDIT: If you watch this video you can see the damage potential of a Sheep/Dagon5/Eblade Tinker.

Tinker is actually a bad pusher because he is terrible at hitting towers. He kills the creep waves no problem but he has no way to bring down the towers which is what really matters.

Tinker lategame is actually ridiculously good provided you've farmed well. Rearm --> hex --> rearm ---> hex on a carry is brutal. Your nukes should either be owning supports or helping your team burst down a carry. Doesn't really make sense to use them on a lategame pudge and expect a high damage output.
