She did almost nothing the entire game. She was her team's offlane solo, against a Gyro, Rubick, and jungling Chen. She spent the laning phase as far away from the creeps and t1 tower as possible. She hung out around the t2 tower, occasionally blocking creeps, sometimes hung around the ancients (but never stacking them), and when the other team put in a concentrated effort to push down her tower she did absolutely nothing and let it die, without soaking up any xp at all. She eventually sat in mid to leech xp from OD, and then didn't skill anything. When she got level 4 she leveled powershot and nothing else (so 2 skill points used total). At level 6 she finally put 3 in shackle. At level 7 she took windrun instead of powershot. She eventually farmed a force staff and an incredibly late mek (not sure why the very well-farmed OD didn't mek instead). Her team basically did nothing entire game as well. They never contested a Roshan, didn't take fights when OD got his vyse or when he finished BKB, or when Puck got his Blink. Enchantress got manaboots only (not sure why she didn't build mek instead either). They never really pushed ever. There was almost no action in the game. Eventually the other team just walked uphill and won the game. The alchemist hadn't even tried to contest mid farm vs the OD, he stayed fairly far back, and slowly/poorly farmed ancients with acid sometimes-- OD had 50 denies by 12 minutes; and yet the mid t1 tower never died. I just don't understand. | ||

He got a lifetime ban from the tournament, got kicked by his team and he made only 322$ by losing. edit: Watched the game for 20 minutes. Windrunner was zoned out. She would very likely be killed had she gotten closer to the creeps. Actually quite common for offlane heroes. I would have preferred her doing the ancients like funnik recently did, but oh well. Alchemist doing stacked ancients instead of going to lane vs. OD is correct too. OD is an infamously good laning hero. He couldn't exactly push the tier 1 though, first because Chen and other supports threaten to countergank him if he goes too far and more importantly, an OD wants the laning phase to be as long as possible. Od has a very hard time farming outside of a lane. Overall this game was quite a stomp and it's very questionable to send a puck safe lane while leaving a gyro farm the opposite safelane uncontested. | ||

That puck brought exactly nothing to the match. He dies the 3 first deaths from his team, and brought nothing to the teamfights once the bkb was up on gyro. The thing you mentioned about T1 mid never dying to OD, that was on purpose. The commentators mentioned this as well. As OD, you want the laning phase to last as long as possible, and its a lot easier to farm if the enemy T1 tower is pushing the creepwave back. That combined with a chen in the forest ready to gank at any time makes it less smart for him to try and push it. edit: Also, when OD had sheepstick, they did try to go out and contest the tower. but through chakram and acid spray its really hard to find the position to do so. The gyro also had aegis at that point, making it that much harder. | ||

do you auto attack during rocket barrage? in lategame, is rocket barrage still better than autoattacking a target? (say you have a rapier or whatever) | ||

 Wld someone plz help me out? I would like to Deny creeps, and throw my Unstable Concoction from Alchemist, but have found no key or key combo that will enable this activity. I have used 'A' move, 'A' left click, 'A' right click, Shift (all of the previous), all w/ no luck. I tried re-clicking the activation key 'W' but it still wouldn't loose the concoction. I even found an article online that wanted me to alter my Game Preferences in Steam, but had to reset after that. Anyone able/willing to help w/ that? For any geniuses out there who generally don't help, you can see I have been trying to do this for myself, am willing to put in the work, so plz proffer your assistance. Thanks, Curt P.S. I couldn't find a forum that seem more appropriate for this subject, so plz forgive me if it is in wrong place. | ||

You can also only deny creeps that are below 50% hp, if they are above that you can't attack your own creeps. Unstable concoction should be thrown with the same button you used to start the spell. You can only target enemy heroes with it, so look out that someone is in range or you will stun yourself. I hope any of this helps. | ||

You can't even attack enemy creeps with it. You're not doing anything wrong, it just can't be done. | ||
