You need boots first if you're going to do it this way. You wont be able to stack both camps otherwise. But I'd still go bottle second instead of tranquil. It's been a while since I tried jungling Bat but from what I remember tranquils aren't really necessary if you're just sitting in the jungle - if you get in fights before level 6 at all, though, tranquils can really help you get back into the jungle without wasting time going back to base to heal.
You'd still have major mana problems though. which is all he needs in woods anyways. He's able to farm through very little hp as long as he has napalm and firefly.

you can just go back to base after clearing the big stack at 5min. Or if you dont feel like it, ferry yourself clarities/pot naked boots into blink works

The whole point is to avoid having to do those things, as it costs both time, xp and money. Your aim should be to never have to return to base if possible.

The 2 ways to jungle bat are to go boots first and bottle first. I don't play bat much so i dont know which is faster but ive seen both get extremely fast blinks.

Bottle first is more or less expecting to be able to Bottle crow so that you don't have to go home--the time saved from going home makes the Bottle pay for itself well before you get your Blink.
However, if your mid hero and/or off-laner are Bottle-crowing already, this limits the courier time you can get, which means a lot of the time you'd still need to go home anyway. In that case you may as well just skip the Bottle.

Does this work for all targeted spells? That sounds really handy I had never heard of it before. I never actually used any range radiuses but I will definitely give this a go when I get home from work.
I did a quick google, and found a forum post explaining how to keep it on, though there were no replies after as to whether it works or not. "Type host_writeconfig after dota_disable_range_finder 0"
If this works it seems like it could be pretty useful.

is steam down? or dota 2?

I use it, but its usefullness is very limited. If there is only minor action you will not see the arrow anymore. As an alternative to hovering over the skill (which shows the radius as a circle) it´s pretty good though. If you want to plan an ambush it does help.
The dota_range_display command was way better though! I actually had my arrow keys bound to four different ranges. Night vision, tower true sight range, XP range and 600 (as a lot of skills and ranged attacks use that). I was pretty sad, that it got considered a cheat : (

When does pugna's ward damage heroes with instant cast-points? if sandking burrowstrikes in range of a nether ward on low health will he die before the stun or will he get the spell off?

The damage goes off before the spell if I remember correctly. If Luna shoots her laguna blade on low hp, she will die without the spell ever going off.

yes I know that, but lina has a long ass cast-point (in comparison at least). My question is in regards to heroes without cast-points. I'm not sure if its the same for everyone or if heroes with instant cast get their spells off.

No, burrowstrike wont go off. No hero have instant cast time, they're just really quickly. Unfortunately, not quick enough for the ward.

There are heroes with instant cast-points actually, at least according to Dota2wiki and some other independant graph that I cant source atm. Thanks for the answer tho, I think that you're right regardless

I think the damage is dealt at the point when mana is spent. For no cast point heroes it's instant obv

"Instant" is sort of a weird concept when it comes do DotA anyway, because the way triggers work allow triggered events to happen even before "instant" things.

I have a weird technical problem. Every time I start Dota, it warns me that steam cloud can't sync me. I can still play though, but it weirds me the hell out.

Might be a windows security thing, maybe try turning the cloud of for some time or in general, it only matters if you use your steam on other computers. Right click dota in steam > properties > updates > enable steam cloud synchronization. There's a chance your firewall is blocking this particular service so look around there if you want to use cloud
