I don't like max Earthshock out of Jungle, mostly because you lose a lot of jungling efficiency. Max Earthshock fits being freefarmed safe lane into an early Blink Dagger. I will say that if you're going 4-1-4, you shouldn't get Vlad's first like traditional Ursa builds do. The whole reason for Vlad's first is to use the fast Roshan/tower pushing ability coupled with 1-4-4 builds, but since 4-1-4 sacrifices a lot of that for combat ability, it makes more sense to get an item that's more directly useful in combat. I'd also question whether 4-1-4 or 4-4-1 is better, but I haven't done enough investigation to find out. My feeling is that if your mana can support it, 4-4-1 is better. You'd probably need Arcane Boots to support that (which are actually legit--Treads are pointless because of Overpower, and Phase aren't that useful after you have Blink).

I guess tranquils dissassemble into vlads and do rosh at level ~7 (1-1-4-1) into earthshock max and mana boots from the rosh money/XP could work. Actually that kinda times out well assuming your jungle isn't disastrous. I dunno. Actually, I think i'd probably end up doing 1-2-3-1 @7 just because I like the extra overpower for rosh purposes. No math here just idle speculation.

All the games where we've seen 4-1-4 Ursa recently (e.g. Alliance in G-1) have been a safe lane Ursa.

How does midas work on lone druid? Will lone druid still get the exp if the bear uses it? Also do midases have separate cooldown, i.e if i have two do you need to have one on druid and one on bear?

Even if the enemy has a terrible offensive tri they win it just by being there as if Meepo gets a delayed start he's screwed. And meepo mid isn't all that bad, it depends on the matchup but with an oov and pms you can trade hits with most heroes really effectively. As I said the best case scenario is where you're sure you won't get offensive trilane or you're doing one, but when you're not sure putting meepo mid is the best choice as it gives you the most safety in terms of laning. And never understimate meepo when he hits 6-7, if you go geostrike build with an oov your attacks do shitload of dmg. Also, IIRC fnatic put notail mid in some game but can't find it, can anyone confirm/deny? Meepo is really a hero that needs xp, farm isn't that important in the early levels. The thing is, giving the enemy mid freefarm while denying your own team a midgame hero with a level advantage is setting yourself up to get wrecked in the early-midgame, where meepo needs a bit of time to catchup/get ahead. One of meepos major weaknesses (when drafting him) is that he isn't adaptable. If the other team can throw together a decent offensive trilane, meepo is a terrible pick. You only (last) pick meepo in cases where you can afford to play a 4 protect 1 lineup. That said, if you have a decent defensive trilane and they decide to try a really bad trilane, meepo can actually contribute decently to fights early on - poof is an efficient nuke (160 damage at level 1!), and net is good follow up CC, while meepo himself has quite good starting defensive stats if they try to go on him (among the highest starting hps, with excellent armour, above average MS, and 35% magic resistance). If their trilane isn't any good and yours is, they can just end up feeding meepo into a faster level 6. Also, isn't geostrike an orb? Why are you getting OoV?

The cd on bear and hero is separate so you cn double midas. I have not tried doing the midas swapping to see if hero can get double exp twice or if the CD wont be affected. If cd not affeted on transfer, I will troll games with 7 midas on a smurf. 1 on hero. 6 on bear. Midas, swap, midas, swap, midas, swap, midas, swap, midas, swap, midas, swap, midas, swap. :D

If this is doable, I will troll games with 6 midas on a smurf :D The game seems to only remember who used a type of item, along with if an item is used. You can have 2 midas, and have both on the bear as long as they're on cooldown. I know for a fact the (unused) second midas will have the same cooldown as the first when giving the unused midas to the bear. You will swim in money later, but you have to invest ~4k into it first. Funny thing is that depending on your admiralbulldogginess you can be just as useful with double midas as with proper items.

and the xp is only gained by the unit who killed it, so nearby allied heroes won't get part of the xp. It's also why LD doesn't get xp if his bear uses midas on a creep.

you can stack hard camps too, and your 6 cd earthshock with 3 extra casts from bottle allow you to clear at level 5 or 7
