What is the interaction between uphill miss chance and evasion?
They're two separate rolls. Evasion is calculated before miss chance on attack.

Thanks d00ds) Could you do some silly gimmicky strat with venge / luna / drow and Lina abusing the ridiculous buff that fiery soul provides? I've always wondered, and I've had a few games where there's a friendly Drow on the map that lets me absolutely wreck faces as lina... but I've never tried it in a coordinated effort or on purpose. Mostly because Lina's attack animation is absolute shite, and I'm too bad at the game to actually CS with her ^^ Why use lina at all? The venge/luna/drow trilane is pretty hilarious. I was thinking dual lanes with lina as a semicarry. Venge + Lina could work (?) as there's an obvious setup, and fiery soul + venge aura would synergize a bit. Venge would just play as she would normally as a support, and Lina would prioritize points into fiery soul / dragon slave with just a single point into light strike array. Build phase boots -> Drums -> Euls and be a fireball chucking racecar stunbot! It's pretty damn pub, but fun :D

Say 40% evasion and 25% uphill miss. Against a target with only this evasion, you have 60% chance to hit. Against a target uphill without evasion without evasion, you have a 75% to hit them. Against a target uphill with this evasion, you have a 45% chance to hit them. 0.6*0.75 = 0.45

Except for yourself maybe. so it should deal disgusting dmg then? since netherswap max range is 1200? if this is true, with the buff to bs doing dmg through bkb, thats one painful combo Rupture into netherswap into pudge hook into triple force staff for terrible terrible damage. Kinda on this note going invis does not break channeling e.g you can start tping then vendetta and continue to tp and be invis when you arrive.

Yesterday, I finally decided I had trained enough QoP to try her out in matchmaking. I firstpicked her and wasn't contested, so I happily went mid. Here's the teams (remember, this is trash MMR): 1. Me (QoP), Alchemist, Drow Ranger, Bounty hunter, Earthshaker 2. Viper (went mid), Storm Spirit, Skeleton King, Spectre, Mirana Of course, no one in my team bought any wards, nor courier... but I stomped mid hard. Got two kills on Viper early which made him disconnect, and bought both the courier and the flying courier for my team. I then proceeded to gank and own people until I had around 11-2-5 in stats or something by the midgame, going bottle -> threads -> scythe of vyse. Now this is where it becomes problematic: My team refused to push and fight together and just kept running alone. They weren't straight up feeding mostly, but they wouldn't abuse our advantage (us being 5v4, me being fat as crap). As the game went on, I noticed how hard I was falling off, and eventually there was nothing I could do because I couldn't 1v1 skeleton king or spectre and storm spirit just fled when I found him and at 60 minutes, they throned us. Now for my question: How should I have adapted my play? I felt I was so far ahead in the midgame that I should have been able to carry my team, especially since they were just 4, but I felt like I couldn't do anything. My item progression after scythe was Agha -> Shivas Guard then going for linkens (which I never finished). What I'm thinking right now is that I should maybe have gone for orchid instead of scythe (to help me kill storm easier and keep snowballing), and then go into some form of hard carry weird build to stay strong enough to kill skeleton king and spectre, like a deadalus.

If you are fed enough to solo-kill enemy heroes, you can put pressure on their carries' farming ability even if your team isn't pushing with you. The key is knowing that you have to do this and making the item choices to do so.

Treant invis allows you to cast and use items while invis, so yes. It's not even a drive by since you don't get revealed as you do it, they just take a massive amount of damage from nothing.

As for going dagon, isn't that extremely risky? You have to get dagon 5 while holding the advantage, dagon 5 being the most expensive item in the game with pretty bad scaling, this seems hard to do. Also, it seems any decent opponents (as in, not the opponents on my MMR) would rush BKBs and shut you down completely. What I'm trying now is bottle -> threads -> orchid -> daedalus, but I'm wondering if it's maybe better to rush MKB. Daedalus does great damage, but it seems to me that MKB is just a must-have since the odds of the opponent carry going butterfly is too big if they are using an agi carry. Also, what would you recommend for survival when going a qop carry build? Obviously the point of playing her like this is to abuse her mobility and huge damage to own, but I feel like you sort of become too squishy to 1v1 the opponent carry if they get decent items, even if you're ahead. Is heart the best option?
