does LGD bomb out at TI because they played more games at MDL? it's a resounding no. if a team/group/individual cannot show strength when their opponents understand their strategy, they will just lose sooner or later. i don't want to be making excuses for OG, because their drafts have shaped up shakily since the major. i admire that they continue trying the whacky stuff, but their mid and core are very easy to underestimate. they pick lane-winning heroes with flexible supports and when they do not win the lane, they play a stressful game and drag it out. which means their pool of heroes, for mid in particular, has been extremely specific to invoker, storm, ember, in that order. then there are the pocket picks like DK, TA, Juggernaut and recently Puck. i don't know what to say about that other than that it's a lot less flexible than it sounds.

He has piss poor farm and even worse hindsight during teamfight. I really want OG to win but everytime they are losing i saw how useless n0tail could be. Your mind- You are out of it.

They are all really good and I don't know what they still need, whether it's just to adapt, but they have a hard road ahead of them. Well, at the Kiev Major, they didn't do really well during the group stage and their win vs Team Random and Team Faceless wasn't that impressive either but in the end, they win the major ^^ They can still win from the loser Bracket (Franckfurt Major style)

Like obviously they're just as resilient with their current lineup, hungry for this, and they have the skill with each very talented in their respective roles, but that was a different team. This is a genuine question looking for genuine opinions. To be honest, I don't really see who else should be playing for OG as it is. I think they all do a very good job at their roles, and they supplement eachother. The only real reason, that I can see at least, that OG from time to time loose, is because of some shaky drafts, take one of the games vs IG where they kinda went wombo combo with Ana on ES, S4 on Enigma and Jerax on Treant. They never got to actually play the wombo combo they were aiming for, and therefore they got absolutely crushed in that game. To me that is the biggest weakness OG has. But yes, I think that they are able to pull it off, if they don't rely too much on the "gimmicky" lineups, but focus on some strong heroes, make the nessecary rotations and have the needed vision. (I think their vision is kinda weird from game to game, some times they have absolute vision over everything, and some times it seems kinda lackluster)

Just thinking about s4 alone, because he is my favorite, this is his sort of lineup. I was actually thinking about that a little while ago.
