Hope Na'Vi gets to ESL now so they get some experience~ I don't care about Secret BUT lately it is more and more clear than many teams are overrated as others underrated. EG losing to Empire, Secret dropping out of SL placing last, C9 choking as always.
For me, the only sure thing is that many west direct invites should not be so direct. Maybe, given the last results overall, Valve could do a qualifier with level invites like ESL One Frankfurt. A bit of help for relevant teams and a chance for the weaker.

Stop with the invites thats my idea, everyone should qualify.
Im not sure i care too much about Secret nowadays, they arent even half as cool as NaVi

Now that they're implementing majors we'll see what they do about this. Might not be next year since adding Majors at all is a big step. We'll see.
And yeah, I had a lot more affection for the previous iteration of Secret. I really hope this is the version of Na'Vi that finally brings it back.

I heard that in CSGO they invite top 8 of previous major to next major (as long as they keep 3 of the players of the winning team).

Im fine with that, because its TRANSPARENT, you know which ones are getting seeded, because they deserved it
The whole invite system its cryptic and complicated

When you front the largest prize pool in esports, most player and team support, and put on the most well done tournament of the year in terms of media coverage and content production level you get to make the rules however you want.

So what is the state of Vanskor/Sonneiko ? they have a 6th player ?
I would actually would love if Dota 2 get some kind of bench, imagine changing a player in the middle of a series to add some verstatility, what would be so awesome

However, I believe, with time, coaches, bench and other staff will develop in pro-scene

My understanding is that VANSKOR is like really sick or something? Basically like Fear last year.

I agree, I would also love to see some a bench for the reasons you stated.

When is the next official Na'Vi game? They only played in ESL qualifiers recently and the next stage is not even scheduled yet (according to liquipedia).

However, I believe, with time, coaches, bench and other staff will develop in pro-scene there's a problem with bench players i think .. unlike on sc2/bw and other sports(non-esports) you usually never get to play if you are bench on dota since it's more advantageous to play as the same 5 always to build synergy etc etc
also there's pretty much no need for bench players cause there are always plenty of stand.in's who are willing to play in dota .. although the other staffs and coach(the chinese team have coaches and during TI4 i think the western team did have some) sounds good

Even Faker from SK Telecom, called by most "the best player in the world", got benched this season.
You know, with the upcoming of Dota Major Championships, "bench" will find its place in each team because roster changes will be punished so everyone will have their subs.
