Bootcamp update: lol

Still no one in the room.

[e] Well I woke up and checked on the boys. They are playing Counterstrike.

Bootcamp update: assume XBOCT dead. Haven't seen him in the room for like eighteen hours at least. RIP XBOCT.

Moobot: vote for Na'Vi!

I remember very similar situation happen to SingSing. It was near the Rosh pit and he was playing TA iirc, he dodged the arrow and one second later (or less) he double tapped blink dagger to retreat further which teleported him right under that arrow.

FHDH, let's look at the bright side. Their boot camp is supposed to go on for 3 weeks, so they should get at least 1 week of proper practice during that time.

Yes I was just told this in chat. I wonder why neither Funn1k nor XBOCT are physically present?

OK the bootcamp stream has just been straight off. Someone must have realized it was doing more harm than good. And apparently XBOCT is off playing GTA V with his buddy.

Yeah...

It was already close to 02:00 in Kiev when you made your post. I don't think there is anything wrong with not practicing or shutting down the stream after 00:00 local time.

Again, I get what you are upset about, but there is no need to look at things so negatively.

I mean it was like noon their time when I saw anyone even there, and it was 3/5ths of the team and they didn't even play that much Dota AND I think the stream was down for I think an hour at least by the time I posted about it.

I'm not upset about it, just mildly disappointed. I don't think they're getting into the summit with this level of demonstrated effort because they couldn't knuckle down for like three days straight and show people they're serious. I mean who needs to qualify for a LAN when there's more GTA to play, right? It's just sad at this point.

Also listening to the interview, I think they're not playing non-stop but scrimming against decent opponents several times a day. Burn out is real... especially for 3 weeks~ who knows what they're doing in their free time

and... Na'vi might have lost all their votes with this... -___-

I also agree that until the voting results were in, they should have hard-cored a bit more than they have been right now... I don't know if they're just getting too confident of winning the vote or something, but ... :o

Haven't tuned in to the bootcamp stream but if this is all they're showing, this is kinda shameful indeed.

In the past they seemed to have all the excuses in the world to explain they didn't have time to practice between events. But here, fucking around all day long in a streamed bootcamp environment, when their team is at the lowest point of its career and they're supposed to show they're renewed and motivated?

Well, hopefully they have a proper schedule and this is just the first couple days being slower, somehow.

(actually have no idea how long that bootcamp is supposed to last though)

I dont know a single persom that can work 8 straight hours without "losing time" by doing other stuff. I even watch netflix at work (do not tell my boss !! But Sherlock its just too awesome)

And for all we know they could even have more PCs in other places, maybe even their gaming notebook

Of course pauses are necessary, but reading FHDH updates it sounds like they're playing more CS and Hearthstone than actual Dota, when they're not straight out absent.

I wonder what the odds are that they get into the Summit then get crushed by everyone, including NoT. That would be something.

Assuming there will be 11 invites--6 western, 5 eastern--like last year, western invites would probably go like this:

Empire
Secret
C9
EG
Alliance
Virtus.pro (formerly Polar)

NiP, HR, and Na'Vi will most likely be relegated to the qualifiers.

Why would Alliance get an invite?
Both NiP and HR are more deserving of a invite then Alliance.
Imo VP (past Polar) and NiP should be invited with Empire, Secret, EG and C9.
Then again, letts see how Starladder shapes out first.

Watching the stream during their game against Tinker, why do Artstyle and Sonneiko have their keyboards angled at like 30 degrees? Do y'all do that as well? Can't see that being good for your wrist :o

Dendi is on point and his huge streak of QoP games is paying off wow

Nice-la.

Too bad they won't be at Summit, but they kinda made their bed there.
