Synderen even went as far as to say that it was impossible for EG to win game 2 based on the draft, which made me understand why Bulldog had mocked him in twitch chat during a previous DAC game lol. PPD's drafts are ridiculously good but tell me more Puppey about why your team is the best. With the roster change, I wasn't sure how Sumail was going to adapt to the competitive scene but he's done a great job so far and him and Fear have done a good job filling the void Arteezy left. I wasn't too worried about Zai leaving because even though he's a really good player, his role overlapped with Universe's (who is probably one of the top 3 offlaners in the world) and a support, which Aui has easily replaced being a very good support specialist. Aui also has a really good insight into the game (as I'm sure Universe and Fear do) so it's good having another team-member to reliably theorycraft with. All in all, PPD is the backbone of EG but the team wouldn't be where it was at without a full contribution from all its amazing players. Eliminating Secret 2-0 from DAC was icing on the cake that this team can still compete with a revamped lineup. | ||
