Dragon Age 2 is pretty good, but falls off the rails when EA forces them to ship it with an unfinished third act. But I loved that that game was just about being the hero of one city over the span of 15 years and was mostly about refugees fleeing the events of the first game. I wished more games fantasy RPGs had story lines like that, where saving a city was just as compelling as saving the world.

DA2 was surprisingly pleasing indeed and people said it sucked. It's the tragedy flavor and was basically a setup-conflict for DAI that made it different from DAO/DAI but quite interesting while being true to core theme of Dragon Age being "there's is no right decision"

You should get some knowledge on Hamlet, it’s a good play. The 1996 version is very watchable. And its fun because the lead actor and director also directed the first Thor movie.

Be warned though, the Brannagh film is pretty long. I think I've heard Hamlet described as the longest 5-act play by Shakespeare, according to script/performance length.

Just watch it in two parts. It has a clear split in the middle. The reason i recommend that version is that it is the most accurate how the scenes are written. There is a tenancy to have the last sword duel to be framed as a duel to the death, which is not how that scene is written.

Edit: Further thoughts on Hamlet: There is nothing wrong with reading a plot summary before watching that film, especially if English is not your first language. The language of Shakespeare is both dated, stylized for theater in Elizabethan England and written for witty play on words. You are getting the English language through like three filters, so don't be shy about knowing what is going on well before watching it. It is a stage play, so the dialog drives the action, so it helps to know exactly who is playing which character and who that character is in relation to everyone else.

That part where Fortinbras just fucking INVADES was so weird. I thought that character was meant to be the foil to Hamlet. He made up with his uncle and then did some cool stuff, and on the way back from fighting a battle got voted into power, without having to just seize it. These were traits in the play that Hamlet seemed to admire, so when he was dying, said that Fortinbras was meant to be the next guy in charge.

But in the film, he just invades and takes over.

I'd describe D:OS 2 predominately as a "build your own waifu" game where you build your best girl and then roam around the countryside looking for your second-best-girl to fall in love with. In my case, best girl was a spear-wielding amazon who quickly found lesbian love with an evil dagger-wielding assassin lady and then beat the game, resulting in events that even spoiler tags cannot protect you from.

Also you can play them out of sequence, they are independent of each other despite being mechanically similar. D : OS 2 felt more complete and better overall, but they're both pretty damn good.

I've started listening to some Tom Petty while studying, and I think it's odd how many songs he's performed that I know, but didn't know the names to.
