Yeah.... uhhh... that incident merely reinforced the "yup theres no girls in this game" to me. But like I said I have no idea if you actual find Luna or whatever her name is in the end. She was ok character in the movie thing they made. Still 4 bros riding around in car for forever and camping out got old. Also I thought combat, while it LOOKS great, was super reptitive. Maybe it doesn't have to be but you can definitely repeat same combo endlessly and win every fight. Uhh FFXIII-2 I played extensively on initial release completed 100% of achievements all endings, etc and never touched game again, so its been a good while. Noel is like last human survivor from the future or some shit like that so him being a bit mary-sue didnt bother me really at all. He doesnt really act like the bad-ass he is so it feels a bit off but Serah's abilities are wayyyyy less justified since the entirety of xiii shes just Lightning's little sister who is completely helpless and they are trying to save her. The actual story is super wtf imo, like the whole tone of the game is this super positive happy shit but the actual story is ultra mega depressing ending. There are a couple alternate endings though. Not gonna lie all the best parts of that game to me were the Lightning parts sooooo.... yeh dunno. As far as combat its very similar to xiii but you don't have actual party, instead you collect and level up creatures and they fill your party which is not terrible. But collecting pokemons is somewhat different than collecting party members. Although it gives you a lot less potential complexity. The game is paced much much better than xiii so its not as likely to get bored and quit part way through imo. If you like super cutesy moogles shit there is loads of that stuff. heh These are all what I remember but its been 5 or 6 years or whatever? Edit: on reflection don’t trust me on xiii-2 gameplay descriptions it was definitely unremarkable because I remember xiii gameplay a lot more even if it’s mostly the combos for killing adamantortoise over and over. But I sank a lot of time into xiii-2 and mostly only remember characters/story stuff. | ||
