And the monsters are fun to fight. The main plot is "there is a big monster, we must capture it and reveal all the gameplay to you during that time." It seems so good, games like this, upcoming god of war, horizon zero dawn and the last of us 2 makes me want to move to ps4 and be more casual. But switch also seems so attractive, and ultimately i'm on this personal quest to save money. So i guess i'll watch those being played by someone on youtube. Unless I surpass the savings goal for this year enough to buy a console + games.

edit: just checked, it's coming out in Autumn 2018, but I don't know anything about the requirements.

I'd recommend waiting around for that if you don't have a PS4, but would like to try the game. edit: just checked, it's coming out in Autumn 2018, but I don't know anything about the requirements. They won’t be that bad, but I would be concerned with whatever match making back end it ends up using. That and kinda bad PC ports, since Capcom likely isn’t dumping money into it. The game on PS4 is fine, IMO. Like Bloodborne and Dark Souls, you can play multiplayer with people if you want to, or just do it all on your own. But its really fun to just jump in and respond to SOS flares for specific monsters. That is how I farmed up a couple good weapons. And my god, the weapons are so stupid. The bagpipe hammer is so stupid. Yet the animation for playing it is amazing. Your character is so into the jam you are putting down, buffing all the team mates.. It makes me want to use that screwball weapon and be the hero every SOS flare wants.

Looking at the numbers I can actually see that over 45 million people came to the streams via FB ads, with many more coming from being featured on interfaces like Facebook Watch - so they definitely put a lot of ads behind it (although a brunt of it in SEA) I think there may be something wrong with their data gathering methods.

I'm pretty baffled why PGL is running only one game at a time, forcing the groups to be bo1 instead of bo3. They use 4 days for groups and each team plays only 1 game per day.

There still seem to be some people who come to ld before they come to r/dota2 so I figure there's no harm in cross posting that sort of message.

This is exactly like the CSGO major. Bo1 Swiss into single elim is bad. Plus Dota has the huge advantage that viewers have already accepted multiple games at the same time, you can do much better than this.

![]() Like playoffs should objectively be double elim, groups I think there's a lot of space for experimentation. Hell, double elim lets you have a lot more fun with a swiss system (say 3-0 teams get upper bracket & choice, 3-1 teams get upper bracket, etc. You can craft a system that works)
