you better have accidentally typed "autism powers" movies.. Austin powers movies are great.
Yeah, there was a recent interview where Daniel Craig said that Austin Powers made the Bond films unable to use the usual tongue-in-cheek names for their characters etc.

They were super silly, but the movies were also out of their mind too. There is a part in one of the old Bond films where a very tiny jet flies out of a horse trailer. Or a Polaroid camera with a under water laser. Or Odd Job and his hat. The movies were like spy fever dreams.
I watched all the movies as they were on polish public tv on friday evenings. I was like 15 at the time, I fucking loved all of them. They made me the fucked up person I am today

yeah, exactly. while Austin Powers was clearly a parody of the Bond movies, I'm glad that the later movies have strayed away from those kinds of names even ignoring the fact that Austin Powers was parodying them.
i like the grittier feel that the current bond movies have.

that's exactly how i felt about the latest one. for me, who always enjoyed the movie golden eye, simply bc it was the first bond film i watched and ofc played the shit outta the game..it was the best bond film since then.
i wish i could appreciate the older movies as much as i appreciate the ones that came out in my life time
