Less than 2 hours is worth like... 2€ at the very most for me, probably more like 1€. Also a 5 minute requirement to write a review isn't a hard entry point and isn't unfair in any way, you don't need to actively play for steam to count playtime anyway lmao. | ||

Both, its fine. We put them on pizza yesterday. Cynic is correct that its an onion and you should just treat it like one. And the games that are only 2 hours in steam are pretty clearly marked by their low price point of $1-2 max. Some of them are from game-jams where people cranked them out in a couple of days and they just want feedback on their design. | ||

It mentions a dev who's selling games shorter than two hours, and thus doesn't like the refund system but at the same time is fairly indifferent about it because "she doesn't make much off of it anyway". There are very explicit examples of devs trying to monetise games this short given, along witht heir opinion that it'd unjustly punish them for making games this short. That's just silly, and indeed what I am criticising the most. | ||

You will notice that none of them are asking for the refund system to be removed, only that it take into account short games. I am failing to see what the issue is. These people make games that are short and would like to make sure people don't abuse the system on their games. The article even has a dev who says the system is great and just needs to be tweaked. | ||
