where i live, at least for software/engineering side, these meets and greets happen in tandem with your interview. and it happens for large tech corporations too. some of my friends say that they get shuttled around and interviewed by different team members, it's kind of like a meet n greet interview | ||

a friend of mine was talking about an interview he did where he smashed the interview but the people there didn't really like him; he wasn't actually looking for the job but regardless, i think the fact that he didn't get an offer for the position says a lot about how much companies value cohesion or whatever | ||
