From my experience with fucking up and somehow backspacing or doing some mouse trick to go back a page and losing all my work I prefer writing large posts or blogs on Word before I write on Liquid.

Different people had different experiences. I am sure no one at the event is malicious. But some of the stuff EE said about the players having their own bathroom between matches is reasonable. Just them having their own space to decompress and focus is important.

The who ddos thing is purely on the players however. Him complaining about unpausing is silly because if the events don't punish the players not protecting themselves they will never do it. Plus its horrible for the viewer.

Edit: Chairs without arm rests. Wow. Man, America football players play in almost any weather, including below freezing.

Edit 2: Capitalist calling EE out and telling players to not make passive aggressive blogs and talk to caster like grown ups. Love it.

The armrest thing was at DAC I believe before c9 and EG managers went and bought their players new chairs. I mean I sort of understand it, if you are used to some sort of a gaming chair it would be ideal to have something similar at events. But that is sort of blown out of proportion I think, I'm pretty sure noone has yet refused to play an event because the chair was bad. Saying that the chairs were annoying is one thing, making it a huge issue where you would refuse to play is another. Like as Plansix compared it to playing a game of American football in bad weather, I doubt the players go around praising the weather in their comments but they still play the game the best they can.

What Capitalist said about communicating directly with casters is definitely true. I mean one can see on any forum that there are lots of people who don't like casters in general or some specific ones, but that does really no good unless the caster gets feedback in a way he can clearly understand. It's not necessarily easy to improve, just "trying more" may not be enough if you don't know what exactly you are doing "wrong" to begin with.

Concerning why other players may not complain, not only do different people have different experiences, but in general a lot of people simply don't care. No matter the field in life, a lot of people just accept that "this is how it is" and they try to do what they want without concerning themselves with the overall picture. Mali for example seems to be saying that he liked what EE said about DAC, and he would hope that more players gave feedback.

Of course it is another story completely whether the blogs themselves are necessary. In some things it probably can be necessary to put it in public so that someone has the pressure to get their act together, but also a lot of feedback probably would be much better received if it would be given in private. But of course I don't know what different players, casters and organizers talk about or if they talk at all in private.

Its the same players who write these passive aggressive blogs about casters. I don't think players like Fear or Puppy have any problem with talking with a caster directly if something they are saying is straight up wrong.

I dont think there should be any responsibility for a player to have to correct a caster. If a caster is wrong - thats on them. If a player points it out, its a bonus.

IDK casters are mostly awful but its a hard job

I definitely agree, just saying that if you are going to say something about the casters, that time is better spent talking to the caster directly than talking in relatively vague terms on a forum.
