The sound cancelling thing is interesting to me. Other sorts of player facilities are different. I can definitely understand that players want practice areas, they may want to arrive a few days early, they may want restrooms that do not require you to walk through hundreds of fans, etc. Some tournaments may not be able to accommodate the players perfectly due to either lack of money, their location or just incompetence, and if players then don't want to participate in these events imo it's perfectly fine. Even if top teams don't want to play because they have the choice, some other teams will want to do it. Of course it's another question whether tournaments who don't get the top teams can survive financially because they don't get any viewership.

But anyway as I said there are different reasons as to why certain player facilities may not be present at all events, and that's fine. But what is not fine imo is if the integrity of the competition is constantly in question. If players hear the casters in a lot of tournaments, imo the situation is pretty terrible. While better teams will still win more, it's not far fetched at all that in a relatively close game the result may be decided by one team getting information they would otherwise not have. It seems that not only will the majors attract the top teams, but they may also be one of the very few places where the competition is also as legitimate as it can be.

Well it probably is accurate with what he said but some sentences sound quite strange out of context. Like "in TI the staff would go get whatever the player wanted" sounds pretty silly as if players want the staff to be there to get them food and drinks or whatever. Pretty sure that is not the point. Probably more like if there are concerns regarding the tournament, some technical issue or whatever else, the staff knows what they are talking about and are willing to take care of whatever problems.

Better to wait for EE to write whatever he has to say instead of taking that tldr literally.
